And we didnt loan yaya either we bought him, im not to sure what point you're making with regards to mascherano as he was an established player when he went there, my point is if sahin was so good why are they not looking to play him instead of signing modric?

Your comment about worldbeaters not being released by Real and Barca, Yaya was not really wanted by Barca, allowed him to leave as they fancied Mascherano more, as Real do now with Modric. Mistakes or different opinions of players occur.

Guardiola was playing the game, one to raise the price we would have to pay two to be diplomatic to a player who had given Barca great service. He had already made it perfectly clear that he was going to play Busquets or Mascherano in front of Yaya. Do you really think if that wasn't the case he would have left them?

The only people who history means anything to are fans as its the only thing they can cling onto, do you genuinely think the top players in the world want a cabinet full of medals or to be able to say they played for liverpool?

Sorry i never mentioned the fact that players go to a club because of the history, i did say that players would, if all things being equal, go to a club that has a recognition to them. With Sahin we are not talking about the likes of Chelsea or the Rags going for him, according to the press we are talking Liverpool or Arsenal. On that basis i would not be surprised if he chose Liverpool

want me to add gerrard and suarez ill gladly do just that. So he can play with an underachieving scouser and an overhyped racist neither of whom are world class but are just overhyped by scousers and the press alike, gerrard is a shadow of the player he was and suarez is a showpony who doesnt score enough goals for a striker.
