I'll get my coat.
Think I preferred the 'anyone'', to be honest.

;-)

And I was waiting for Elton to ring to let me know he and Tim had split and he wanted to sign me on.

My dreams have been crushed! Now I know how Liverpool supporters feel.
You want Elton to ring you?

Oo-err!

Eh, as long as I could keep my missus I wouldn't mind being a "kept" man. I could use a new Maserati. Mine is feeling a bit dated.

LFC MD to
be sacked as FSG have officially
offered AFL number 2 Gillon
McLaughlin, offer north of $2m a
year.

I saw this coming , ian ayre is definitely not capable of running a football club , he's the only one left from pre-FSG era and i always hated him tbh

it would be a travesty, not sure it's possible to happen, I'm sure there are some shitty free backups without club somewhere.

I was listening to Talkshite at about 1am last night (on way home from work, so nowt else to do), & loads of their fans were on going ballistic. But then some cockney guy came on (West Ham fan I think), & made an interesting point.

Apparently, Drogba & Anelka could soon be looking for new clubs as there is some suggestion that their club in China is being less than forthcoming with the astronomical wages they were promised to move over there. As stop-gaps (at least until January), I could think of a lot worse than either of those two.

But judging by their quite spectacular incompetence yesterday, I can't see the Liverpool hierarchy having the nous to work this out as a potential solution, should either player become a free agent.

Associated press saying Drogba released by his club. Watch this space - if he doesn't turn up at Liverpool, someone wants shooting!!!

Blooming eck only 2 games into the premier league and brendans under pressure .Still liverpool have history of winning trophys.Although saying that their is a liverpool fan at my work who didnt no when liverpool did their 1st treble had to tell him it was 1984 league cup league title and european cup.Cant beat history

His management company denied it today

rodgers isn't under pressure at all. at least not from fans that go the match. fsg on the other hand....

I've been impressed with how things have started under Rodgers, some blips, but reasonable, the 3-0 at WBA was a bit of a fluke as they had that splendid goal from Gera and then the sending off, before that they were controlling the game.

I think Ayre is an idiot, if Rodgers had the same amount of money as Kenny was allowed to spend, we'd see an exciting Liverpool squad and not just a first XI.
