Anyone just watch the program on Hillsborough on BBC 1?
I know this may sound ignorant but I don't know a great deal about what happened and the events that occurred that day.
Was it a case of there being too many fans there or did the police make mistakes?
23 years and still no blame accepted by murdoch's rag or the police
i had optimism that the whole can of worms would be tipped all over the media, but listening to michael mansfield tonight i fear yet more cover-ups and side-stepping.
If papers and reports are still 'missing' (shredded) then the whole f'ing thing is a sham, hope i am wrong but deep down i fear the worst.
It's one thing to make a mistake, but to lie and lie again, to cover up and to be backed by a national newspaper in the cover-up and then to get off scot free is beyond a disgrace. The police chief interviewed is 'controversial' to say the least, flirted from wales police for draconian war-on-motorists campaign for his own reputation and using a headless body in a speed awareness campaign without permission of next-of-kin, he became known as the mad mullah and even then he got the top police job in yorkshire.
A terrible day for football, 23 years of tragedy for justice
