Another gem from Brenda.

I never thought Ferguson or Mourinho would be upstaged when it came to mind games.

Rodgers also pointed out the gulf in resources between his own side and Pellegrini's. "I saw the analysis Gary Neville did on us, [about] patience and the type of players and he showed Manchester City scoring late on in the game against QPR," Rodgers said. "What he didn't mention was Vincent Kompany one of the best centre halves in the world, passed it in to Yaya Touré, one of the best midfielders in the world, who passed it onto Sergio Aguero, one of the best strikers in the world, who passed it onto [Mario] Balotelli, one of the best young players in the world, who gave it him back and Aguero scored. You have world-class players right the way through the team and we are trying to build to that here."

Is he for fucking real? If our manager came out with comments like that. He's making his excuses already.

I've not read the whole article, but there's nothing to argue about with that quote above. The comments about Kompany, Yaya, Aguero and Balotelli are spot on.

Apart from the one about VK passing it to Nige. If I recall, it was Joleoninho who headed the ball and it dropped to Nige.
Fair one. I didn't even think of that, I was just agreeing that they were all top notch players. I'm guessing in the full article that he's on about money as well, but that's only to be expected. He needs to stop talking about us and just concentrate on the Palace game.

It was Nasri-Lescott-De Jong-Aguero-Balotelli-Aguero.

Kompany and Yaya (who'd gone off injured) weren't involved.

Rodgers seems to have serious clinical issues in dealing with reality.

Apparently winning five in a row is "a wee bit new for us" according to rent-a-gob.

Except for the ones that were involved in 8 in a row earlier this season, not to mention winning our last six to win the league two years ago.

Perhaps we should take all those titles off Liverpool because they had the best players from that time? Clearly, if you have the best players and win the league it doesn't count.
