Not shitting it exactly but i do not like playing them if truth be known.
This season they have really come on strong also.

I think we will win but i think they will push us more than most.

I'm the same, I always see Liverpool as a tough game - they always seem to give push us and we have been quite lucky to avoid defeat in some recent games between us. I do think that without Gerrard they lack that drive, it is normally him that steps things up against us.

No doubt Aguero and Zabaleta injured will be a boost for us. But I still think it will be a good game come boxing day, I am fairly nervous about it, think we'll lose, but if we play like we did against Spurs then who knows?

How do you guys feel? :)

You won't be able to play like you did against spurs. We won't let you.

-- Thu Dec 19, 2013 11:20 am --

As I have said in another thread. Forget history, we are a different team and animal (at home).
Also don't get the scousers on the history gig ;-)

If we play like spurs did against you lot, you'll win agreed. Personally I think you're going to find out how spurs felt when they played you lot and us, and how arsenal felt and the rags and your neighbours when the played us, but then again, you do have the advantage of all that istreeee(or maybe its weighing you down) ;)

Haha! Look at that, you guys got a bit of swagger about you know haven't you? Its cute. "The rise of the bluemoon" Or whatever it is that you lot say. I like it, anyhow. I do feel it will be a harder test than Spurs.

Spurs had problems going into our game anyway. AVB was already under pressure. You guys wont have that problem, anyhow. I still think we'll give you a harder game than you think.

It's going to be a tough game, no doubt about it, that's what happens when you're in a competitive league but tbh I don't worry about the big games as much as the dodgy away games against 'team coach f.c.' and the likes.
Liverpool won't sit back against us imo they'll come out and try to stand toe-to-toe, which suits us better and I think that coupled with our big game mentality will be enough to see us through. btw you can forget the games last season, we drew with arsenal and everton at home last year lost to the rags and Norwich;) and barely scraped a win v spuds.

I think it'll be a tough game... but then again I thought the Rags, Spuds and le Arse would be tough games too!
Realistically, take Suarez out of the Dippers squad and they're pretty average – they're certainly no better than the the Tarquins and we battered them!

Whats even cuter is scouse supporters finding a bit of confidence on the back of a decent start to the season.

Now where is that scouse boom bust cycle?
