I would love to have a player that has stuck with our club and won as many trophies as Gerrard has, also to top it off he's a local lad. Anyone who doesn't agree is just a complete twat. Gerrard is a legend to Liverpool and I would love a player to play for us from the academy and retire with us. Good luck Gerrard!

Just read through a few comments and this sums it up for me as well.

I agree too, but I couldn't help sniggering that Palace gate crashed his party.

Gerrard has been a very loyal, and a very good player for Liverpool, he should have moved away last summer imho, he was already off the pace of the PL, and the fact that he has still been one of their best players this season, illustrates how far behind they are post suarez.

I stand corrected he's won around 25 trophies in his time.

He won the League Cup three times.

Did you not celebrate when we won it last year? If its such a nothing tournament I assume thats the case.
