You can mock, but I am a polyglot. And I've submitted some brilliant jokes to joke thread, so yes, I AM fun at parties. In whatever language.

Well we're not made of money like some clubs but we will do our best to be competitive. We can improve next season whereas you guys will be hard pushed to improve in the league over what you've achieved this season so far. I suspect that you will be strengthening your squad further in order to maintain your efforts next season. For us its a case of our young defence developing as a unit and cutting out the silly mistakes.

Haha. Not made of money. Good one. Liverpool are made of money and are spending it. Spurs are also made of money but won’t spend it.

£75m on VVD (a world record) and £40m on the Ox who only had a year left and Liverpool are not made money?? They are inflating the market even more!!!!

Anyway, the critical positions are GK, CB, DM and with that Pool will be much much stronger IMO. The fullbacks are young and show potential but I don’t watch you often enough to comment further being you have often rotated these positions.

Just better hope Salah doesn’t leave. I could see Real making a major bid, £160m+ especially if he scores some goals at the World Cup which he likely will.

I guess we don't sell as many shirts as you and pay bigger wages than you because nothing else makes sense?

Or it could be that you rested on the expectation that ffp would fuck up clubs like City who had investors, & make it easy for clubs like yours to stroll through each season coining it in without actually doing anything worthwhile to merit it, as it had been since the inception of the Champions League.

Ufortunately, the powers of Sheikh Mansour also extend to being able to get some of the best business people in the world, to solve that problem by expanding worldwide & showing the corner shop charlies in charge of your club, how to make money from different sources, rather than just sit on your arse and woman about it.

So now, we have the club part owned by the Chinese, which gives us access to that market, whilst you lot are still showing them your tits, hoping they will look your way.

We even have a partnership with the New York Yankees, right in the middle of all your psuedo Irish Liverpool fanbase, where we were starting from nothing & a club called 'City' playing in blue & white, helping promote the brand.

Whilst in the meantime Liverpool after years of Champions League exposure, whilst we were paupers living on the breadline, have been using that enormous good fortune of being in the right place at the right time, with a guaranteed fortune from tv & potential sponsorship every season, & working hard to, er...... oh yes, massively lose ground worldwide to Manchester Utd.

Wankers.

not to mention that without the somewhat dubious coup of H&G at the last minute, Liverpool would likely not even be a discussion point at this stage.

Ahh, those poor, hard-done by Dippers. Not two pennies to rub together, struggling against all the odds just to make ends meet, clothes in rags and begging bowls at the ready. Meanwhile, that multi-billionaire Sheik and his here-today-gone-tomorrow plaything, Manchester City, have the sheer temerity to compete on an even footing with all the clubs that had it their own way for all those years.

Yeah, I can understand how awful it must be when clubs can afford to just come along and outbid everyone else for any player that takes their fancy. I wonder if Southampton have any players they'd prefer to keep but will have to sell them whenever the 'established' clubs come knocking?

They have just been a lazy arsed fucking do nothing club for years, expecting their bullshit would just land everything in their laps sooner or later & that becaue they were once successful, it would automatically happen again.

And all the fat drunken ****s who used to play for them, spout this shite year in year ou on radio & tv.

They were just prime for a good shafting years ago, & to be fair, the rags gave it to them.

They're not that far away. They don't need full backs or forwards and they have enough in midfield. The keeper is the issue, but not sure if he's now going to stick with Karius as Mignolet now making noises about moving on. I actually think they're okay at centre half with VVD, Gomez, Matip, Lovren etc.
It's late in the game that they appear to fall apart, whether he's killing them in training, and fatigue kicks in, who knows.
City, Liverpool and Spurs should be the top 3, with United and Chelsea fighting out the last place. I think Arsenal are happy just getting Europa as Wenger refusing to join the arms race.
They should get past Porto in CL, and we wouldn't want them if we get past Basel. Anfield is not an easy place to win.
Is Klopp now starting to get to grips with it?

Midfield is enough? Milner, Wijnaldum, Ox, Henderson, Lallana, Naby is enough??? Doesn’t look anything close to a title winning midfield to me.

Lovren and Matip are average at best.

Lol, you guys do not wear the tagline 'we are considerably richer and bigger than you' very well at all. Stop being so defensive and enjoy your time in the limelight and why do you keep bringing up FFP?. You are richer than us, that's your good fortune and I don't begrudge you at all. I just want to be competitive and if we can compete on a smaller budget then that's down to good stewardship by the owners of LFC and more credit to us as a football club. We certainly will not be outspending you.
Good luck against Basle anyway, I'd love it if all the English teams make the last 8.
