It's the 'we can't compete' shite, from these wankers, Arsenal etc that really makes me laugh, as they make it all about money.

We could have signed Aubamayang in the past or Van Dijk recently but we wouldn't have, as they were overpriced. But someone did manage to 'compete' & win there.

Yes, we have a bigger budget than they do. But they could have afforded any of our signings, just not all of them at once, in one window. But we have just had to replace a load of ageing players. Arsenal & Liverppol, had a chance to move ahead of us, whilst that team was declining. Where were they ? Leicester won the fucking title.

And if you gave any of our current players the choice, none would pick Liverppol or Arsenal, for the same fee & wages.
