Holy fucking shit...read this gem from a scouser on the liverpool echo comments section

“Liverpool fans need to be ultra careful, there is something afoot that could be lining us up for a fall. An elderly man in McDonalds told a story over a coffee....so who where the hooded gang in dark clothes (no scarves) who got out of a blue van opposite ASDA on the night that the Man City bus was pelted? Why was a Manchester BBC journalist inside the Man City bus who coincidently just happened to have a video camera? and who where the hooded guys standing at the back of the crowd throwing objects? This could all well be coincidence conversely it could be contrived by the Manchester anti-Liverpool propaganda machine. I know its a bias but I don't trust Manchester BBC and it appears to me that they are up to their necks in this also its perfectly conceivable that they are driven and influenced by the Manchester Mafia. Liverpool fans must behave impeccably, just don't give them any excuses”

And another here...basically confirms the sneaky bastards did what they wanted but because they are getting called out for it are niw looking to come across as angels to stop being punished :

‘For those travelling to Rome for the return Champions League tie. Please stay safe, be careful and cautious and avoid trouble at all costs. The expectation of more trouble is currently being stoked up by both the British and Italian press.
We need to come away from Rome, safe, sound and all happy with an agregrate win with a trip to the final to look forward to. If there are more incidents like Tuesday, then UEFA will come in all blazing most likely blaming this club for any trouble, where they come down harder on us than Roma, particularly if Roma go out of the competition.
They might impose travel restrictions or worse for the final. Or more likely, playing behind close doors next season home in Europe for X number of games, in CL or worse case the Europa L.
I don't see our supporters being much at fault for events on Tuesday, but letting off flares and damage to the Man C bus are stacking up against us as previous incidents and UEFA will be rubbing their hands in joy if something major transpires come Wednesday, regardless of if it's Roma or LFC supporters that are the cause’

You reep what you sow
The first one is fucking hilarious. Roma ultras will have no problem spotting scousers just look for the tracksuit bottom and tin foil hat combos.

So, dippers fans are bricking it about visiting Rome? Ok for them to do it but don’t like it the other way! Bollox to them couldn’t give a stuff what happens to them. Of course they will be ‘the victims’ again. Another few thousand candles sold.

Edited for accuracy.

;-)

You reep what you sow

The fucking twats calling themselves Liverpool fans never actually seem to reap what they sow. A more disgusting set of individuals is hard to comprehend.

So they did attack us then but were not as well organised? That is an attack in my book which you claimed did not happen.

Peoples hatred of Liverpool is clouding their judgement and depressingly trying to abdicate blame from those responsible.
If this was about a few Roma fans attacking the odd fan or cafe Liverpool fans wouldn't be shitting themselves

What they are afraid of is large, organised gangs of ultras attacking Liverpool fans.

The kind if stuff we didn't seem to face when we visited Roma. Wonder why?

Could it be because we don't behave like 100% entitled and arrogant cnuts ?

I genuinely have no idea why you are trying to abdicate blame from the Roma fans.

This attack was almost a carbon copy of an attack by Napoli hooligans swinging belts outside Mary Ds and similarly a fan ended up in Hospital.

That is me not condoning the behaviour of Liverpool fans because the attack on the coach was disgraceful. However lets not try and infer responsibility at their door for this, but place it on the Roma fans which sadly is not the first time they have acted this way towards english supporters.

To use your own parlance, I genuinely have no idea why you're trying to twist my words.

This thread is about Liverpool ,and I was referencing their strange relationship with the media and the Merseyside Police, particularly with regard to the trashing of the City bus.and the subsequent lack of arrests.

The only time I mentioned Rome was because the English bullies are suddenly panicking about next week, and the threat of an encounter with even bigger bullies. It was the same when United played there a few years ago.

Did you go to Rome, because I travelled and didn't experience any problems. It was the same at PSG and Parkhead, where both sets of supporters told me that City were the friendliest set of English supporters to visit.

I don't need a condescending lecture about Napoli, because I've been there twice. However, I've also witnessed drunken City idiots on a German train after the friendly in Stuttgart. The big difference, is that unlike Liverpool, we admit that we've got our fair share of idiots, who ruin it for others.

Rome is a lovely place in the daytime, but you need your wits about you when Roma play at home.
If Liverpool respect the local culture, and don't act like dicks, they'll be fine.

Not a chance : )

RAWK
“I can't wait till we play them next season, as European Champions, chanting "Where's your European Cups?".. Mo, Sadio and Bobby ripping them new arseholes again. We've got the measure of these, and the more they grow to hate us, the more we should realise their resentment is truly a respect of the deepest kind”

Oh dear......
