Looking at the respective performances by City and the dippers against the rags, our performance was so much more composed and controlled .

Whilst the opposition was utter shite on both occasions , I thought the dippers didn't have the same authority or control as City throughout the whole game.

I was actually shocked at how inept the rags were in all areas & that's saying something. They hsd numerous opportunities to counter attack but could neither control nor pass the ball & their defensive plan seemed to be geeting as many players around the centre of their penalty area as possible & hoping Mo Salah & Co would blindly run head first into them, or try to flick passes through all of them which they did, over & over again.

I thought it was a poor quality game of football, like watching the rags in the FA Cup v a lower league team where you know they will win as the oppo can't play, but they still manage to be shit whilst doing it.

To be fair, Liverpool absolutely battered them for the first 30 minutes and should've been more than a goal up by the time United fortuitously equalised.

Correct, but would you want to see City banging balls into a channel, hoping someone would be in the end of them. I don't understand the over the top plaudits Klopp is getting for a team that basically depends on overpowering the opposition through sheer physical domination. So much for his so called more measured approach this season.

So far there have been injuries on Henderson x 2, Mané, Wijnaldum, Gomez x 2, Matip x 2, Lovren x 2, Alexander Arnold, Milner and a couple of injuries to Origi and Solanke. If that is unbelievable luck, I don't want to be around when Liverpool are unbelievably unlucky.

Most of those players they won't miss too much, aside from Mane. If they had been without Van Dyke and Salah for a couple of months we would see a difference. The former is vital and holds it all together, a bit like Kompany used to for us.

So far he has been dog shit and I do mean dog shit. Even dippers I work with say the same.

He has taken a while to bed in as did Sane and Bernado and so many players do coming from different leagues. Dippers are good side and if he is being selected to start he has something come the end of the season you will see how good he really is.

Lingard may have scored and run about a lot but he could hardly pass the ball at all. He had opportunities to play players in but failed every time, similar to when he plays for England. That is the worst I have seen the rags play in years they couldn't even get the basics right. However bad they were it took two deflected goals to beat them, although Liverpool were obviously far superior.

Hmm, like the Rags v Reading, a game the nation is grateful will be live on TV. Can hardly wait...

FFS they were playing a mid table team. I could have got in the raggies side and I am 60, overweight and short sighted. Will people stop making out that yesterdays result was on par with the Dips beating Chelsea or a proper top four side. I am not dismissing them but yesterday was no test of how good they are.


And should any female posters be reading I am actually just under 50 and look like Bobby Manc.
