It wasn't you were basically saying I stopped going when we stopped winning which I did not. I just stopped, it happens, get over it. I did. My last match was 86 F A Cup Final v Everton. Been the odd game if a friend cannot go and no-one else wants his ticket, but I just watch the TV.

My original post: "So to sum up, you stopped going to games when you stopped winning the league every other season ;-)"

Note the winky smily face emoji emoticon thing that people do when they're being tongue-in-cheek.

But as you're being so defensive about it, I suspect I probably touched a nerve.

Oh - that's what it means....... ;-)

How do you think you will get on with Spurs on Sunday @chester57 (apologies if this has already been covered in the thread)?

I'm finding it tough to call as I don't really know what to expect from Spurs at the moment.......

We have to win all of our matches and hope. One draw and in my opinion City will win the title. I cannot see you having any problems at Fulham, we were poor and won, and I think we will edge Spurs.

Spurs really do need something out of this game because the 4th spot is by no means tied up yet and they can drop with a few more bad results, Liverpool have slowed down and IMO will draw this game.

In 1973 Lpool drew 0-0 with Spurs at Anfield in league Jennings saving 2 pens. 10 days later at Anfield Lpool 1 Spurs 0, UEFA Cup semi, 2nd leg at WHL Spurs 2 Lpool1, Lpool through on away goals.

So what?

On 2 September 1978, Spurs went to Liverpool with the great Ossie, Ricky and Glenn. Liverpool won 7-0.

History is so important isn't it? And it obviously means that the same result is going to happen on Sunday. And Liverpool are going to win the league.

Did you know Liverpool have won the league more than any other club. It is not mentioned much...

I'm a bit confused about your point there, are you saying that you think you'll draw with Spurs and City will go through against them on the away goals rule?

Sorry but just pointing out that two English clubs played 3 matches very close, 1 in league and 2 in Europe one of them being Spurs who you play three times etc. Sorry if this upsets you.

I'm pretty sure they've never won the Premier League

That’s what it means.
And there was me, thinking you were discriminating against one eyed pirates!
Well you certainly do learn something new each day.

I couldn't cope with the victimisation if lloris or even the official coach driver did run some of the feral twunts over, it would be 20 years of self pity and nothing to do with them attacking the bus as that was just scouse humour.
Because they're all football daft, instead of Merseyside plod actually policing this situation by announcing a ban and making arrests, they'll again embrace it and It'll be a case of a few 'rotten apples' ruining it for the majority when the beer cans start flying.
Come on Spurs, for once show that you have a bit of fight in you.
