No way are you a Birmingham City supporter.

Everyone that refuses to feed into this madness repeated on the forum at the moment doesn't need to be viewed as a liverpool supporter. I'm coming from a place of love to try and hold a mirror up. Like I said previously, if you only want a borg-like hive mind on here with everyone just telling yourselves it's Var, it's peds, it's the refs, it's the league, it's UEFA, then that's cool for you.

I'll say it for the last time, I'm too fucking old, and give to little of a shit to try and pretend to be a supporter of a club, I'm not. The admin of the site can probably see my location, and if I'm making it up, then why wouldn't I chose Villa as my pretend club? I could have ingratiated myself easily with fans moaning about Liverpool. I try to give long and reasoned responses that address the points, and yet what I see in return is "you raise some good points, but if you don't see things the exact same way that I do..."

I'm just being honest; I like liverpool, but I'd prefer it if city are winning the trophies.

You are a mess buddy, not once I showed liverpool support, just respect. I have been asking everyone just to show respect, and focus on our team. We tend to talk about liverpool more than ourself. This needs to stop, we went from rivals to just pure hatred. I for one, can't wait for the response to this next season.

It is what we have become in recent times. I don’t think we have adjusted to success as a fan base. I’ve even seen a petition on Facebook to scrap VAR now. A petition, now who would we take the piss out of if they done that???

Not sure anything you say carries much weight. You’re another who since joining has tried to be a bit too neutral. Guaranteed you’ve been here before under another guise. Another sad sack.

I'm not denying anything, because "controversial decisions" is a pretty meaningless term; they're either right or wrong. I'm not combing through every single decision made in every single match to confirm my preset biases.

There was nothing controversial about the 2 decisions at anfield yesterday - they were both right, and if anything, city got the benefit for their first goal. Personally, I prefer Var disallowing goals that are a millimetre offside, than allowing goals that are offside. I remember all fans saying that var would mean that Liverpool never get near a title, now it's one of the only reasons (along with UEFA and PED's of course) they're currently running away with it.

Fans of teams not winning the league never used to comb through xG to try and prove anything. City have played the better football this year and last, and they'll play the better football every year until Pep decides to move on, but that isn't a factor in deciding what points you feel you deserve versus what points you feel another team deserves.

I would say they've rode their luck this season, but that's all it is. I remember thinking the same about some of those old Liverpool teams, then the same about those fergie united teams. So many games they should have been 2 or 3 down, but then end up winning.

I just don't get the desperate dive into conspiracy theories, it reflects poorly on your club, and I have love for you guys. I want you to win, but losing is equally part of football. No one has told me yet what happens if the reverse happens next year. City get every marginal decision and liverpool get none (in their fans opinion). Would that be bent in your eyes, or would it be what they always deserved? We both know what the answer is if you're being honest, and yet it's a conspiracy this year.

You won't find a single set of fans happy with VAR, but I did see an ESPN deep dive a couple of weeks ago that showed Liverpool and city having the same amount going for you/them as against you/them. I can try and dig it out if you're interested?

You didn't answer my questions though.

First, you say you have no idea whether Liverpool have had more favourable decisions than City. Then you give examples from the games yesterday when the title was already decided. Give me an example for a decision in City's favour from the start of the season to the Wolves game. Just one. I can give you at least 5 decisions in Liverpool's favour. That's easy as just the games with City and Everton provide a sufficient basis. Even a Liverpool fan on here admitted the Leicester pen was a mistake. If you can't give any examples for decisions benefitting City, stop pretending to be objective, obviously you are not.

Second, you don't say a word about the Christmas schedule. Why? Can you make sense of it?

Are abusive posters like yourself given free reign to be angry and aggressive to others? You are confusing being neutral with not being an idiot. Starting a petition because we aren’t happy with something is very Liverpool like, wouldn’t you agree? Something we openly laugh at them for, candles and petitions.
No, I’m sure I’d be pulled if the powers that be thought I’d overstepped the mark. Until then I’ll call out posters who I think are disingenuous or ****s.
Petitions are for idiots so whoever starts one for whatever reason involving sport wouldn’t be getting my signature.
Being neutral doesn’t dissolve you from being an idiot by the way - some subjects should, if you had anything about you when it comes to supporting your team allow you to veer from a neutral position.
Sitting in the fence on every subject tends to give you splinters up your arse.

Why are you comparing the CL final penalty to the Trent one? Mane didn't cross the ball with his hand in the CL final.

I would say so. Opinion based, just like yours. For me the Pukki goal is worse decision with these offside cases this season. Doesn't matter that it's only Norwich that could actually make the difference as to whether or not they stay up this season. They got away with the penalty against Watford, which is probably the most blatant penalty this season not to be overruled by VAR. They got bailed out against you lot as well with a lucky handball decision. That's just off the top of my head and I'd say a valid case.

The majority on here are decent, are you, or are you someone who needs to resort to insults to have a discussion?
1. Surely handball is handball if it impedes any kind of cross?
2. Pukki decision the worse???
3. You gained 2 points last night and against Leicester and probably 3 against us given we had 3 penalties not given and Salah was offside.
4. Your full of shit - you’re not interested this year, spurs have had more luck with VAR. absolute shite.

The Mane penalty was a joke, due to UEFA guidelines.
Spurs have had more luck, that they have been on the end of correct decisions doesn't change that.
Best to comment on the whole posts rather than cherry pick and misrepresent.

Howdy lads,

Im a liverpool fan but i dont want any hate i just want good discussion.

I personally think that we've been quite lucky with VAR this season, but it annoys me because last season everyone was saying we'd be nothing with VAR introduced and we wouldnt get near as many goals, we've been both very lucky and unlucky this season.

But i think that last season was one of the greatest seasons ever we both battled to the last game and i give credit to your great team for that.

I wish you the best for the rest of the season!

What time are you getting to the game Thursday mate? We're getting to The Sandon about 2 hours before kick off. Text me. Are Busser and Whymewhynot coming, need to know.

Are you sure you can get a ticket , every plastic remote control wielding Dipper i know can never get a ticket and there's also a 50 year waiting list for a season ticket ,but in reality i can get a ticket for ANY Dipper home game if you pay the price .
Along with the Rags you have the most irrelevant plastic fans in the world ,and i would wager i have been to Anfield more times than you , watching City repeatedly robbed by officials.
Real match going Dippers wouldnt contemplate joining an opposing clubs forum , what is the point ?
