Well this is the liverpool thread, so he is no more out of place than me or you replying in here.

Conspiracy theories, doping, bent refs et al, some people need to give their head a wobble. Liverpool are having their year like we did the last 2 seasons, yes some luck comes into it and decisions etc though the simple fact is they have been better at winning games than any other team in the league this year including City. We have had our fair share of luck and decisions over the years though I guess when you're looking at every single decision like some are with Liverpool they stick out more, but we have been just as poor in some games this season as they have had lucky decisions go their way.

Laporte is coming back to fitness which is a 2 man boost in him returning and Fernandinho playing in his best position which has probably been worse than losing Laporte, no doubt there will be at least a couple of January signings, Leicester don't have it in this squad to mount a challenge for the title and more than likely 2nd position so, we nail 2nd, go all out in the cups and CL and come back stronger next season.
what luck have we had?

What was it that was posted on here recently, about what the points difference should be without VAR mistakes? 6 points, or has that increased over Christmas and New Year?

That simply means, yes they've been relentless, they'd still be top and they might still have won the league in the end but people are right to point these things out if they want to. That as well as being determined and winning ugly alot, instead of this entertaining team blowing teams away all season narrative some here are inventing, while acting pompous to their fellow blues. That they really have had a disproportionate amount of things go their way when it matters too. Which probably means they will break a lot of City's records this season, unfairly so.

They aren't the reason City have dropped the points they have but some of the things that have happened so far, is insult to injury in a way. When VAR isn't trying to screw City, it's finding ways to help Liverpool.

Most of them don't know about winning the pools, where their own huge money came from long before our owner turned up

Or that their club only exists thanks to one extremely wealthy man who ended up with a stadium and no team to play in it so he dug extremely deeply into his very rich pockets and pulled out Liverpool FC.

Otherwise known as “doing it the hard way” apparently.

They've got a great team. I think they will win the champions league and league. Is anybody going to stop them? When is the bad patch going to happen?

Are they to get a Whistling Wanker in the CL with the same level of malevolence that we seem to get? See what they make of a Senor Lopez when he has a bee in his bonnet and an ache in his belly!

This Everton monument will no doubt be updated with neanderthalesque scrawl if they win the league.

You stay classy Liverpool FC.

Hope they do indeed rest their players against Everton.

Last season Liverpool and Man Utd fans complained that City won the domestic clubs because we had easy routes to the finals. Well yes. You got beat.
