Can you advise where he's being criticised (serious question)? Because all I've seen, heard and read is either support or stony silence. The classic is the quotes from Shearer that another poster put on BM. He slagged City off big time for disrespecting the FA Cup with the Chelsea game, despite greatly extenuating circumstances, but supports Klopp picking the kids for Shrewsbury while he and his players went on holiday.
Simples - you either are European Royalty or you aren't.............

Attendance was 52,399, all tickets sold, not all turned up.

Fantastic attendance but did you really have 2000 not turning up? Sounds like a FFP fiddle to me.

Still it is is a great attendance truly befitting of the biggest and best club in the world. It really does mean more and also more piss taking (not from you) from the cultists on RAWK and social media focusing on our 39000 against Fulham.

Historically Liverpool haven't been particularly supportive of early round FA Cup ties at Anfield. As an example going back over the last 30 years:

Jan 1990 29,194 (Average gate that season 36,875)
Jan 2000 32,839 (Average gate 44,074)
Jan 2010 31,063 (Average gate 44,392)

Quite pathetic attendances really for such a big club.

Those attendances make our 39,000 look huge particularly with it being live on BBC, only a few hundred from Fulham and buying tickets for United, Real Madrid and, today, the LC Final.

How do the 3 figures you have given make 39000 look huge 2 of them are more huge. Also you say pathetic, how do the attendances given compare to say you, Utd, Everton, Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal. You cannot look at any one set of figures in isolation and draw conclusions. Also I never post about attendances as I cannot be bothered, you end up going round in circles. If we win the Premier League this season I will be happy.

39000 is bigger than 29914, 32839 and 31063.
39000 would have been bigger still with an away following and without the other factors - our last 3 or 4 home FA Cup ties have been big.
CBA with the rest.

In 2010-11 when Roy was in charge, Liverpool’s crowd v Bolton was 35,400. Nearly 10,000 below capacity. Or nearly 10,000 empty seats for a PL game.

Out of the 19 home games, 10 homes games had crowds of under 44,000. Anfield’s capacity was 44,700.

So where were the best self-proclaimed football fans in the World then?

Where were the hordes of Irish, Welsh, and Scandinavian Liverpool fans then?

The thing is Chester, Liverpool fans have this habit of only telling everyone how great their support is, even though it has been shi* on plenty of occasions.

Then again, it’s not like Liverpool fans would ever make things up and lie to make themselves look better than all other football fans.

Daily Mail going OTT on the Kids.

Looking forward to seeing the Kids play Chelsea away in the next round.

Then again, there isn't a Winter break that Week, so I fully expect Jurgen and most of the 1st team to face Chelsea, while the Kids get back to playing against there same age opposition.

Jurgen knows the double and treble is now on. It's time to take the FA Cup seriously for once.

How Liverpool's plan to dominate English football is coming together: Jurgen Klopp and his staff have re-established a pathway to the first-team from the academy - which could save the club millions in transfer fees while delivering trophies

Another Daily Mail, Liverpool, exclusive.

The Daily Mail must be running out of Liverpool football related headlines and stories?

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson BAPTISES Manchester United midfielder Fred's wife… meaning he's christened more people than he's conceded goals in 2020!
