In slow motion they will determine there was “contact” when a player dives and give the penalty. It’s happened in Italy and Spain. Exactly. The incorrect judgement of the whistling wanker in real time, referred to more whistling wankers in the VAR shed will deliver no better outcomes than we have known for 150 years. The judgement of the ref made within a split second was to be viewed so that a definitive statement could be made re a penal offence, but the number of thirteen and fourteen stone players going to ground, Salah being a leading exponent, with the force of a feather striking yer arm is just laughable.
