Obviously we post on the match thread on a CITY forum, you lot however are posting on a rivals forum during your own games, get a life and watch your team play and comment with your own fans, you lot are fucking weird, rather troll on someone elses forum than watch the game,i trust if you lose a game you will be here in numbers again?

I guess it's different forum etiquette. The general section on a lot of other forums that I use usually consist of fans of different clubs talking amongst themselves in threads relating to their club. Whereas the main forum is primarily for supporters of that particular club. But I generally use lots of different forums because I like hearing other people's view, instead of just Liverpool fans who big us up all the time and think everything is good and dandy.

For instance earlier on in this thread someone said they weren't too worried about us and that we would drop points. That's interesting to me and it's nice to hear another view point other than. "We're gonna win the league". Or hearing other views on Sterling who I admire greatly and get slaughtered by fellow Liverpool fans for saying he could compete with Mane for a spot in our team

Having said that, that doesn't mean that has to be the case for this forum, I've learnt that the hard way on here. I'll try and limit that from now on, I think I post on here less than the other forums I use anyway, although recently I have made more than normal.

What gives me hope besides the fact that we're back to back champions and there's still 96 points to play for is that they're giving up good chances in every game.

Norwich got behind them several times with ease and Southampton missed some great chances including the sitter Ings missed in the last minute to equalise. The best opportunities from open play today fell to Abraham and Mount which should have both resulted in goals and at least a point for Chelsea.

On the flip side, our game against Tottenham was the most one sided draw I've seen in my life. If that game had ended with a similar scoreline to Watford no one would've complained. I don't think we'll miss that amount of chances again this season.

In reality, they could quite feasibly have a few less points and we should have a couple more. Plenty of twists and turns to come yet.
If we'd won but played like Liverpool did today, I'd be worried. They got into the lead and sat back and soaked up the pressure, whereas we would have got into the lead and them kept the ball off them. In the end, they got lucky. But they also won one of their hardest away games. I hope they eventually get the results their performances merit.

They've had 1 extraordinary season in the last 30 years where everything that could go for them did. No injuries to key players, out of 2 competitions in january and opposition goalkeepers dropping howlers in stoppage times on more than 1 occasion. Compared to a team that's had 2 such seasons in consecutive years, one of which being without their best player(de bruyne) for a large part of it and arguably most important one(fernandinho)injured for the latter part. Aswel as being involved in 4 competitions for the majority of the business end and still managing to come back from a 7 point deficit to win it.

They overperformed last season if you look at their expected goals in games by about 6 points and will not get close to that number again barring the same type of extraordinary circumstances where they go out of 2 or all other competitions early, rarely lose any key players to injury and get gifted goals in stoppage time. They certainly don't look unbeatable this season as napoli has already shown and a chelsea side with a new manager have looked better than them in both games they played so far and only losing because they lack genuine top class forward players. Of course I would be lying if I said they aren't a good side as they are a clearly very good team with a good defence and an attacking trio amongst the best in europe but in comparison to this city side they are a level below despite last seasons close race which didn't do it justice when you watched both sides and it was clear how better one side were to the other. I have no doubt that will prove to be the case again this season come may.

I find it interesting that you think that Liverpool fans on here are trolling, when if you read the posts, rather than simply picking individual words or phrases from a reasoned argument, you might notice that most of us (not all) are actually making reasonable comments.

We're not arguing that Liverpool haven't done anything wrong, and in many cases feel that the punishment was light (eg hacking), but its not the Liverpool fans here who say the league is already won -just Manchester City fans claiming that we say this in order to justify their own irrational hatred.

If you want a forum that only caters for a single viewpoint that fits your way of thinking - that Liverpool and all its fans are scum, thieves, dippers etc, that Klopp is a vile, fake, useless manager, that the only reason Liverpool are doing well is money, bribery, cheating, luck etc, then why not just rename this thread to 'We hate Liverpool', at least then there would be no pretence of being willing to see differing viewpoints.

Just a thought (and no, I am still not Pete Matthews or any other poster)

Without going into all of your points, I am curious about your argument for Klopp wasting a lot of money? I can't think of many failures since he arrived. Karius being an obvious failure of course, and Keita still having much to prove.

I'm not criticising Pep for spending the money, all managers would, but failing to even consider the cost of the city squad as being a factor in your recent success just makes it easier for other fans to dismiss city as an oil club. Whether that is fair or not, simply trying to ignore the financial legup that you possess is the same as reds fans ignoring the financial power Liverpool had back in our golden days

You inserted the oil club reference for no particular reason, the leg up we possess? we are self suffient,no debt and we can only spend as per the rules and our owner being rich doesn't matter as he can't put anymore money in,you also went about net spend, all of you repeat the same things,LFC aside
