Ah, I had not realised that. There's no excuse for it - it was a serious injury and ederson had done nothing to justify booing in any event. I have no problem with booing a player when he's playing, that's just part of the game, but not when someone is injured and in the process of treatment or needing stretchered off.

Unfortunately happened to Toure at Anfield on the Hillsborough anniversary(?) as well.

Not a good look.

I thought they were condescending as always describing us a “just a club”. We listen to derogatory comments everywhere & as soon as we give a bit back, censorship. I don’t get it, it wasn’t that bad.

This is what I enjoy most about this thread - the way in which you choose to debate points with logic and reasoned arguments rather than resorting to simply listing unoriginal insults.

Incidentally, while I deplore what happened to the city bus (or any such incidents), and wish the culprits could have identified (I'm afraid I don't buy into the conspiracy theories about this), I find Kevin de Bruyne's response to what happened interesting :

City star De Bruyne said: “No, it didn't change anything. As long as you keep the violence down, there's nothing wrong with it. It was OK. I don't mind supporters doing that – I've had it a couple of times for my team and it's a nice feeling. Breaking windows is probably not done but who am I to say something? I am fine with it as long as no-one gets hurt.”

A lot milder reaction than I think was deserved.

I prefer the Coach drivers comments on the incident.

The Spying scandal if proved true is probably the biggest news in English football for a generation. Liverpool if found guilty should be expelled from the league if not the entire pyramid with huge fines, and yet it's hardly being covered by the media in this country. I think the dislike between the fan bases is more than shared by the clubs and all this is the tip of the iceberg. Khaldoon's interview was the start of the fightback imo. I would like nothing more than if a certain Portuguese hackers actions could be traced back to a certain club

Calling someone an "arrogant prick" isn't really being civil tbf.

If you take the trouble to read the thread @Start2finish , you will learn that there are plenty of sensible posters on this forum who have become increasingly disgusted by the actions of Liverpool supporters , especially since the Klopp era began , whereas previously there was little antagonism between supporters , although visits to Anfield was always dodgy for City fans.

I personally do not think that this is a coincidence as he has built up the " intensity" surrounding the club and its fans. Sadly some of your fans are bordering on feral in their behaviour and I believe that Klopp has tapped into their level with his actions on and off the pitch. Enthusiasm you will no doubt say, but rabble rousing is a phrase which comes to mind.

You no doubt disagree which is your prerogative, but please do not come on here and try to insult out intelligence . We know as fans that the behaviour of a significant number of your supporters is just not acceptable.

I personally feel from reading this forum that the hated of Liverpool and its fans is directly linked with the increasing success of the club and its current role as the main challenger to you. In the past there rarely seemed to be antagonism between the 2 sets of supporters (again , I'm taking generalities here) at a time when city were in the rise and Liverpool were going in the opposite direction.

I also believe that it is the role of a manager to connect with the fans, and that Klopps behaviour is generally positive although not perfect.

At the same time, there is no denying that the behaviour of some Liverpool fans is deplorable and getting worse. I'm not sure I would use the term feral, but I can understand why you would. Whether this is of frustration at the years of failure, at the worry that things might go backwards, or more likely, that some people are just deeply unpleasant 'fans' who can't operate in a civil society, I couldn't say, but I wish it were not the case.

That’s where your wrong, we’ve been involved & lost out in title races to United, Chelsea & Leicester whilst knocked out of champs league by Spurs, so no it’s not because you’ve improved but how you behave.
