Well, I would agree and disagree with parts of your comment. I personally feel from reading this forum that the hated of Liverpool and its fans is directly linked with the increasing success of the club and its current role as the main challenger to you. In the past there rarely seemed to be antagonism between the 2 sets of supporters (again , I'm taking generalities here) at a time when city were in the rise and Liverpool were going in the opposite direction.

I also believe that it is the role of a manager to connect with the fans, and that Klopps behaviour is generally positive although not perfect.

At the same time, there is no denying that the behaviour of some Liverpool fans is deplorable and getting worse. I'm not sure I would use the term feral, but I can understand why you would. Whether this is of frustration at the years of failure, at the worry that things might go backwards, or more likely, that some people are just deeply unpleasant 'fans' who can't operate in a civil society, I couldn't say, but I wish it were not the case.

As as been said before, you can trace it directly back to the destruction of our bus. Why are you even 1% surprised that people here dont care for your club after that? Basically, you couldnt win the game fair and square on the pitch, so your fans took it into their own hands, aided and abetted by a compliant police. You also benefited in that game outrageously from ref decisions, over which your fans are still in denial.

We simply can't loose that title to them, that 30 years is hurting them so, so much, and 81 would look even better.

I can even handle waiting for the rags to improve and take a title before these rats.

Sadly we need to keep winning it as cant rely on Spurs and Chelsea or Arsenal.

I still think we have this.

Don't worry about the RAGs, they will take many years to challenge again.

It's going to be us or the scousers for the next few years, unless Chelsea buy well when their ban ends.

I think most City fans feel the same , the bus attack was to put us of our game. When I saw the footage of the attack I was shocked we were made to play the game. And yes I am still angry about the attack and the 17k fine dipperpool got 17k !!!!. If any other club had done that the press/media would have slaughtered that club and rightly so. You dipperpool got away lightly

The leaking of the " settlement " between the clubs over the theft of intellectual information is a clear indication that it is not only the mood of the supporters of LFC which has intensified since we have been improving as a club. Clearly the LFC hierarchy are capable of a bit of mischief too.

I hope the football authorities do not let this pass without action , as it is a serious matter which deserves investigation and punishment for those found guilty.

My impression of the Liverpool owners is that they are about as bad as it gets: money-grabbing, corporate, unscrupulous 'Wolf of Wallstreet' wannabe's who simply want to maximise the return on their 'franchise' investment. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.
They're worse that the hands-off Glazers or Kronke or the like who simply want to milk the clubs but not bother sinking to getting their hands dirty, and I've no fondness for those leeches either.
The obvious retort is a certain Thai ex-Prime Minister (and his like), who was bad for the game for a whole set of different reasons, but fortunately for us he didn't stick around.

Leaving aside questions over other clubs owners, I'm not sure how you can argue that Liverpool's are bad owners. Financial guys who want to maximise value of their investment, fair enough, but under their ownership we've seen increases in stadium capacity (with more planned), greatly increased revenues and reduced debt, and an obvious improvement in playing performance. Certainly they have so far proved the opposite of asset strippers.

The rawk thread on City is just plain boring, no debate just ends up with them posting gifs of them lifting the champions league.

Would be a bit boring if we spent our time on the Liverpool thread posting gifs of 3 domestic trophies being lifted. ;-)
....or 4 even, or 7 out of the last 8 ;-)

Yes, I think they are more disliked - but not just by City fans.
It certainly isn't just City fans, its pretty much everyone else.

You'd think Watford fans would be a little bitter about us right now after the cup final, and Saturday, but they still wished us well after the game and said we hope you win the league rather than liverpool, but that's probably because they're sick of seeing liverpool shirts in their own town, and in their pubs.

I didn't realise that you were looking for a response ? Although I notice you are still avoiding any question of Klopp's apparent wasting of money.
Klavan, Grujic, solanke, Keita, Shaqiri, Karius,
All wastes surely? Especially Keita who is never fit.

How on earth are they 'worse' than either of those?
