No, that’s a nonsense allegation. For a bit of balance, I saw Liverpool fans suggesting similar about us last season too. Every fan base has its idiots.

I agree Ric, was just playing. Seen it from too many fan bases recently but just shows we all have idiots amongst us.

Weirdest thing I’ve found this season is my inability to enjoy football. Basically why I’ve been absent online for anything footy related. Think VAR has played some part in that as last season I was more hooked than ever.

Not for me,but I’m firmly in the camp that is convinced or from what I have witnessed liverpool are getting a helping hand towards that first title in 30 years,my only regret was not sticking a large amount of money on it,the whole thing stinks ..

That’s fair enough. I wish someone would set up a site and keep a log of every time a team suffers either good or bad luck. Would end the debate. We’ve had our luck of course but I’ve reckon Spurs would be out front. The biggest slice of luck we’ve had this season was the Leicester Penalty (at Anfield). Couldn’t believe it was given, couldn’t believe it wasn’t overturned. 100% a wrong decision in every aspect. As for the Trent handball, this will be unpopular, so good job I’m off to sleep, but I can’t get my head around a player crossing the ball with his hand to an opposition hand and that being a penalty. PL obviously confused everyone as always saying the fact Silva handled had nothing to do the penalty call. I don’t know, confuses me even trying to talk about it. But yeah the penalty against Leicester at Anfield was a joke.

As for the Wolves goal, it should have stood. Just like the Pukki goal, the Palace goal and the Brighton goal should have all stood. 4 goals ruled out for no reason.

They just need to get rid of these lines. Ban them. If the VAR operator cannot overrule the on field decision starring at a still screen then the referees decision stands. That’s what I thought this was for. For goals like the Gosling one at Chelsea and the one Arsenal had against United. Clear errors.

Obviously as a Dipper I’m part of the petition committee. We’ll get one set up ASAP.

They're going to piss it, much as it hurts my one consolation will be... Looneypool winners #VAR loadofbollocksaffectedshitseason/anyone butCity. !

Anyway, nobody can win it every year. I am going to wind the Red Scouse up on Twitter by referring to them as LiVARpool FC for the rest of the season. And at least the Rags will be unhappy that the 30 year wait for the Premiership title is at an end. They've resigned themselves to seeing us winning it four times since 2012 but the Dippers breaking their duck will hurt the Swamp dwellers even more than it would if we were to win it again this season.

Let's focus on our club mate, let's not go down to their level.

The thing for me about Liverpool and its fans is they are incredibly self congratulatory it’s unreal. They just refuse to compliment anyone else on success. They seem to see it as a huge injustice that they didn’t win it and the only reason anyone else wins anything is due to “buying it”, “cheating”, “luck” or of course “oil money from humans rights abusing owners”. They literally haven’t got it in them to say “Well done”.

I heard a Liverpool fan the other day tell me that them beating Barcelona 4-0 last year was a much bigger moment in football than Aguero’s 93:20.
For them it was right? Just like how a liverpool fan will say the same thing that we think agueros goal is bigger footballing moment than their win against barca. Did we in general congratulate them for winning CL? Are we congratulating them for running away with the league this season? No, we call them LiVARpool. We were the same buddy, that's what proper football rivals do. Cmon man, we are bigger than this.

Pretty sure I know what issue I was addressing. It just seems completely nonsensical to me and detached from reality that a whole football league is working together to stop a football team and to make sure another one wins. If it was just about protecting the leagues brand, then why am I reading stuff about PED's? Are the league supplying them to help Liverpool, too?

Not sure if you've noticed, but Sheffield United could win the league and it would still be the most popular league in the world, so if the league is trying to protect it's own product, then logically there has to be something it's saving it from, and I just don't see what that is. The biggest leg up Liverpool have had this year is the points city have dropped. City were given the easiest fixtures to start the season, which in a 2 horse race where momentum over a couple of games between 2 juggernaut teams could be the deciding factor, then why would they allow the potential for Liverpool to fall a few points behind early in the season?

So many of these spurious claims don't have anything to back them up beyond whisper and insinuation. Hypothetically Liverpool win this year and next (I think you'll win it next year), then you win it the year after, will that be because you're the best team, or because the league just decided it was your year? You wouldn't celebrate that achievement on the off chance it's what the league wanted, surely?

Sorry for the delayed reply. Read your last few posts.

I could dissect it but I'm not going to. Simply because I've arrived at the conclusion after reading that you are not a Birmingham supporter or whatever allegiance you claimed.

My money is on Liverpool.

G'day to you sir.

But I really would love it if you dissect it. He made some really valid points, regardless of his allegiance.

So it shouldn’t have been a penalty for you in the champions league final against Spurs? Mane’s ‘cross’ was handled by sissoko I think? 1. Are you seriously suggesting handling a cross isn’t handball? Let’s not forget TAA did it twice in that game 2.Are you suggesting Spurs have had more luck than you withVAR?
You’re either thick or a wum

The fact that liVARPool was trending yesterday would ensure there is an * to their title win.

Having said that , they have been the best team this season by far, we have been poor by our standards due to form and injuries.

Here's to us winning the last 19 games and them doing to the ULTIMATE bottlejob! :)

There are plenty of posts recognising how good they’ve been this season if you look.

They are much better than us defensively looking at match of the day last night. Strength and pace at the back which we are sadly lacking.

See, not all Liverpool fans are bad, some of the time! ;-)

Only one player from Liverpool congratulated City last year, TAA. Complete silence from the rest as far as I remember.

I think it was a come and get me Tweet. :)
