Loads of ex strikers talk about how they have to go down when there's contact or they might not get a penalty. Some are just better at going down without it looking like that. There was a game last season that you won 1-0 with a very soft penalty, can't remember which game and who went down.

You have diving down to a fine art,don't come on here and try and brand our players the same

Yes we would, but If that had happened to one of our players the likely scenario would have been for the ref to wave play on....the VAR review would have observed no “clear or obvious error”

The interpretation element of VAR is nothing short of a disgrace. Technology is resolving goal line incidents and offsides, everything else can be tailored to anyone’s agenda.

Let’s see what happens when either of the rags or Dippers get a decision waved away but then the replay shows there was a foul. I’ll bet good money that there will be a new slant on the decision taken by the var referee.

In the meantime we need to keep winning and be patient. We are where we are predominantly because we were not clinical against Spurs and were poor against Norwich.

I thought it was a soft penalty. There's contact certainly but mane makes the most of it. The frustrating thing about reading the previous comments, is it makes out it's just us or we are really bad for it. Most players go down under contact these days, sometimes they do a shit job at it and it looks theatrical. I'm not a fan of it to be honest but it's not just us and I have seen plenty of city players do it too. Let's try and not be so blinkered
