I wouldn't say this is our best ever side.They won't admit it now, and maybe they don't feel it now, but in a few years, Liverpool fans are really going to understand how stupid Klopp's decision to sack off the domestic cups is.
This is the best side in their history, and they're not even trying to win 2 of the 4 competitions they're in.
And it's particularly bad when you're in the midst of a rivalry like this City-Liverpool one. When people look back in 15 years at these two sides, the fact one has all the cups is going to make a difference in how they're remembered.
No reason to play half a side tonight. Literally no reason, they've won the league, lost the invincible tag, need a win after 2 losses on the bounce...and Klopp has no explanation for it.

Liverpool got lucky. The ref against their Atletico 2nd legs is Dutch Danny Makkelie, who gave Liverpool 2-0 won against Salzburg and 4-1 won again Porto.
