Do you really believe it was the players who got together and arranged that photo to send their message out?
Maybe, but its obvious it was the club with their sponsors in mind who staged the event.
You're either very naive or have not seen the photo.

If you believe the players from what's been reported then yeah, I honestly do. They're all very politically savvy and aren't backward in coming forward over issues. And this all follows on from a powerful statement from one of them, Rhian Brewster, on Sunday on this. They aren't all putting this out on through their social media accounts first before the press or club added to it just for show and at the clubs behest. Aside from Klopp not being forced into anything he didn't believe by the football club.

Maybe I'm naive but I fail to see why they should be rebuked for this at all unless you're specifically angling to do so. Shrugs.

Now can you all get yourselves sorted so that your kits alternate?

Hard to differentiate between two separate sides in a full-scale training game if you don't. Or we could be cynical and say it was done for purpose.

here's a few more -

Formed in 1892 by people who hated Irish Catholics
Ban on all Irish Catholic players until the 1980s
Abused Mike Trebilcock as "Everton's n*gg*r" in the 1960s
Psychologically tortured Howard Gayle (Liverpool's first black player in the 1970s)
Tommy 'Anfield Iron' Smith' "I'd never allow me daughter to marry a C**n".
Kenny Dalglish as manager in the 1980s using a black counter on the white tactis board to denote John Barnes (the other players had red counters)
Murdered 39 Italians in 1985.
Suarez / Evra, Negrito / Uruguayan patois scandal 2011.
Tom Adeyemi in 2012 booed and called c**n by sections of the Kop.
Interesting article about the Adeyemi incident

I love the reason why the CPS declined to prosecute, I wonder why the CPS believed all the cheeky chappie scouse statements- There are two important factors I have relied upon when making my decision: the enhanced CCTV footage and the high proportion of witness statements which tend to support the suspect's version of events

I wouldn't have thought that pasty-faced Caledonian fullback would have enough savvy to put his kecks on the right way round.Seems a right thick twonk.

Whilst I dont disagree with you and I believe you when you say it was on the clubs website and social media. What I do find odd is the the press/media and liverpool never miss a chance to be in the press/media, yet for some reason the press/media choose to ignore it and dont cover it. Yet klopp only got to fart and it's in the press/media !

I can't speak for the media mate but it wasn't lost between friends of mine either.

We've all never been slow in talking about that day, as much as you don't want to rekindle memories. And I've been very open here about both personal experience and the deep sense of shame that will always live with us for our part in the loss of lives in Brussels. So I'm completely with you that it isn't just odd, but disappointing, to me when major events that should be marked and remembered like Heysel and Bradford get overlooked by the media at large.

“They’re all very politically savvy”

*Puts head in hands*

Shame the board of directors didn’t realise where the political wind was blowing when they decided to furlough staff and take hand outs from a Tory government.

I think there's a BIG distinction to be made between the era of social media we now live in and lads that actually go to the game and come from/ still live in the City. Which get's lost with every fanbase when people draw on repeated tweets and what they read on-line.

The prime example being Mancunians and Scousers. WAY more alike than most care to acknowledge. We both love our football. Our music. Our fashion. Share similar political views. Both aren't backward in coming forward in standing up for what we believe is right. Which isn't the done 'British' thing and has us both disliked all over. And we get on sound in general life with each other. I've many friends/ ex-work colleagues who are Mancs (and Utd fans at that) who I consider good friends. And I've had many a fantastic night out in Manchester over the years at gigs etc without a hint of any problem. Yers all just talk a little bit daft. Smiles.

But throw football into the mix and people turn into knobheads. Not least on-line where people get conditioned to hate the other club/ City and its citizens. More often than not from people who have never set foot in either City, Much less spent time there to find out for themselves.

I'm rambling and appreciate it will fall on deaf ears for many. But that's the most frustrating thing oft times conversing on-line where that distinction gets lost.

Agree mainly but your football club was a disgrace Hacking into our database to get ahead of them game regarding players! If they do that what do you think your club are doing behind the scene to other clubs? It helps though with the media mainly backing your club positively.
