The last time the rags won a trophy (the Europa League) City officially congratulated them. What we got in return was the man child that is Lingard leading the dressing room singing of "Why don't City fuck off home?" which he posted on social media.

City officially congratulated Liverpool on winning the Champions League last season and the Premier League this season. Last season they sent no official message of congratulations when City retained the PL. The only one, to his credit, who did was TAA on his own social media.

I keep reading on various footy forums(mainly dippers)that we were gutted when Chelsea hit the big time. Even though they've turned into hypocritical twats regarding FFP since, I don't remember any City fan feeling gutted over Chelsea's money. In fact, most were glad that we might have someone to smash the uniteds/Arsenals from the top. We welcomed it. Selling Sweep to Chelsea was a shite, but we were on our arse at the time.

Spot on Don’t know a single City fan who had an issue with Chelsea when they started splashing the cash under Abramovich. They make it up as they go along.

I agree that the treble is a bigger achievement than the domestic treble. But there is something very very special about our domestic treble and it is that we achieved it while amassing 98 pts in the league (and also reaching the last 8 of the CL). Man United won the league in 1999 with 79 pts.

And winning the last 14 games of the season, a team sporting achievement that ranks alongside any other.

Agree in the wake of what had just happened it was unforgivable what lingard and his team mates did. Again something just brushed under the carpet. When the City of Manchester was uniting in grief utd players did that.

I think City have always sent an official telegram wishing the rags good luck whenever they appeared in a final and have congratulated them whenever they've won one. This is surprising that our club, who always (until 2011) wore the city of Manchester badge on our shirts with pride in a final, should do this for what is actually a non-Manchester club, but I'm not aware the rags ever reciprocated. No class.

... and a record score in a Wembley (or Cardiff) FA cup final and it equalled the record for any cup final. A points total in the league only beaten once (by City) and not a goal conceded in either cup final.
