I just don't get it.

There's loads of this sort of thing around. What's wrong with saying you would have liked 100 but it wasn't to be. Or just stay quiet instead of the "we didn't want it anyway" line.

No-one would think any worse of them.

They are getting on my nerves with their boasting and bragging. They have even started putting Premier league Champions in brackets after their user names now, and they haven't even been presented with the Trophy yet. To hear them talk they must have more ribbons and medals than a fucking Mexican General...Bah

Ha ha.
Boasting and bragging are what fans do when they've won something.

There fucking constant bleating about City however wears a bit.

Won a title overshadowed by a pandemic,Citys "escape" from a European ban,and some of the dicks have enabled the latter through their own bitterness.

Oh and they can't break our point record and a fair few of them will be seething about it.

It's a fact of the modern era that all the best sides have something to hang their hat on.

Mourinho's Chelsea have the 15 goals against season.

Arsenal have the invincibles.

United 99/00 are the only English winners of the treble.

United 07-09 won it 3 times in a row.

City 17/18 have 100 points (and a dozen other records).

City 18/19 are the only team to win all 4 domestic trophies (and the only domestic treble).

Yeah of course Liverpool will remember their title forever, just like Blackburn fans or Leicester fans, or how City remember Mancini's title.

They simply will never be remembered by history as one of the best league sides ever, and that's what they threw away. Of course they don't care now, they'll care in 5 years, and 10 years, when people look back at the best sides the country has ever seen, and no one mentions them.

Duncan Alexander made this point really well on the totally football podcast today or yesterday. They won the league in December, they were going for something bigger - the quadruple, the treble, the CL+PL double, the points record...and failed over and over until all that was left was a normal, run of the mill title win.

They all admit they played much better football last year. They haven't scored many goals, they haven't had a great defence, they failed to break out winning streak record, they lost a bunch of games at the end.

In 10 years it is possible people will look back at this title and the reason it'll be remembered is because it was against Pep's City, like Mourinho's one win against Pep's 3 at Barca, which when you consider what their season could have been...

Do these people really think liverpool didnt want the records !
Here's what one of them said on the forum I got banned on ( cant say anything bad about them ;) )

The club and the fans really did want it.

Here we go again, Liverpool vs Burnley
Liverpool trying to break that 100 point record and Burnley this is there last chance to realistically get in to the Europa league places so it could be a very good game.
I see Burnley have a few injury concerns and Liverpool will be without Jordan Henderson.
Come on Champs lets get closer to that record.

Bloody hell sitting watching tipping point hoping and praying that the scouser playing for 10k loses

Really cant stand that bloody accent

Shit he won it :(

Sorry to any Evertions
I was hoping The machine would be a cruel mistress and the jackpot counter would dangle annoyingly at the end like it was glued with Carraghers phlegm

The reason they can never be classed as high as us is the fact we played till the last minute of the Southampton game, to break that 100 point barriet. Winning the league was not enough and we never stopped. Different mentality.

On top of that, they had a big fuck off break in the middle of it and they still didn't manage to break any records. The only thing they will be remembered as is the covid league winners.

Thought that was 2018/19?
If not, I'm losing track of the trophies we keep winning!

United the only English treble winners? Does ours from last year not count?

We won 4 trophies, The treble as used around Europe is CL+League+Big Cup.

I did specify we are the only winners of the domestic treble.

We haven't done the big one yet and it's clearly a bigger achievement than subbing the League Cup for European Cup.

We haven't outdone them there...yet.

But the pisscan said what we did was impossible!

Not long ago they were posting world record profits now they are claiming poverty and their entire business model was undermined by us not getting booted from Europe. Where has all their money gone?

They have a "happy Aston villa relegation day" thread on rawk, after all the "respect" villa showed them for there gaurd of honour.....
As if being owned by Theo bloody Walcott wasn't enough. What did Villa do to deserve this?
... surely you're up for Champions League qualification this season?... I mean, I haven't looked at your league table position but I saw this...

"It's all quiet on the Bitter front, isn't it?

No news about fantasy stadium, transfers or ownership in the last 24 hours."

...on Squawk...

I'm working on the assumption that the only need for 'fantasy stadiums' on Merseyside is when costs need to be written off to pass FFP and gain entry to the CL.
Oh fuck me gently with a chainsaw, they are SO OBSESSED with Bramley Moore. It's pathetic.

I don't think we're going to get CL or Europa this season, Sheffield United are better than us and we were lucky to get a point against Villa. Hopefully we can try for Europa next season but we are going to need a massive overhaul.
That is their level.

They have this need to sling abuse then they deny that they ever did it. First bit of abuse back towards them and everyone is bitter about their greatness. They want teams to love and admire them, but in reality they are hated far and wide. It is the fan base that brings them down. Look at how they behave and it all gets ignored by the red media lovers. They are a cash cow for Sky and BT. Their fans are cattle and customers. I feel sorry for the real kopites (Yes there are a few still out there). And now they feel a need to attack Villa as they face relegation ... enough said.
They go on and on about how much they want people to hate them and how they love boiling piss, yet they get upset when people don't love them. Us included. One kopite came on the Everton Facebook page asking why we weren't sending him congratulations. How about you fuck off? Did City fans congratulate the rags whenever they won stuff?

The last time the rags won a trophy (the Europa League) City officially congratulated them. What we got in return was the man child that is Lingard leading the dressing room singing of "Why don't City fuck off home?" which he posted on social media.

City officially congratulated Liverpool on winning the Champions League last season and the Premier League this season. Last season they sent no official message of congratulations when City retained the PL. The only one, to his credit, who did was TAA on his own social media.

I keep reading on various footy forums(mainly dippers)that we were gutted when Chelsea hit the big time. Even though they've turned into hypocritical twats regarding FFP since, I don't remember any City fan feeling gutted over Chelsea's money. In fact, most were glad that we might have someone to smash the uniteds/Arsenals from the top. We welcomed it. Selling Sweep to Chelsea was a shite, but we were on our arse at the time.

Yeah that’s my memory of the Chelski takeover:
1. Yay, someone can smash the Arsenal/United duopoly.
Which became...
2. Boo, another team hoovering up talent by smashing transfer records, like United.
And settled with...
3. Ah well, at least it’s not going to be every other trophy for United and it’s now a triopoly.
