It's not the worst thing as most of that money goes straight back to Thiago only. On top of that, even though it is an upgrade they are losing one of their more reliably consistent players in the process.

As long as they aren't selling off too much deadwood, or making a huge profit off of a big name player (eg Mané) that they can reinvest into the whole squad then there's nothing majorly new to be concerned about.

There seems to be a new term emerging on rawk. Having now realised they are not the only team with a history, the term 'storied-history' has now been invented. I'm not sure what this means, but to have a storied-history it appears you need to have murder convictions.
