...I suspect that although many an old git will recognise what you're referring to, most won't share your desire for a pint of it... hence why it's only the old gits that remember it! Warm and badly kept pints of both that and Websters in the Pev back in the day still haunt me to the extent that I've been on the lager ever since!

My local when I was a teen (The Royal Thorn just outside Sharston) sold the worst pint of Wilson's in the world.
 
They are the most hated fan base in the country and it's not because they've been cleaning up all the trophies in the last 30 years. I wonder if they ever look at themselves and wonder why fans from hundreds of miles away dislike them.
