If it was negligence by a lab they’d be going fcking mental & the death threats would be going off the scale.
They can push whatever angle they want at his point because the authorities didn't call for an investigation. Instead they just swept it under the carpet. And imagine my surprise when the various media outlets essentially just gave them a free pass. From the little snippets I'd seen, it looked like an unusually critical piece from Hughes, but having just looked at the article I notice one of his key bullet points says "it is clear that Liverpool had no motive to get the game called off" which makes me think he has been spoon fed it by their media team. Looks like incompetence rather than cheating is the angle they're going for, but it's scarcely credible.
Is this true?Apparently there is a Lab that is recommended but LFC decided to use a different one that employs Dalgish's daughter.
That is just weird.View attachment 34853
You won't find a weirder paper than the Liverpool Echo. Must be a reflection of the readership.
Like Monty Python’s "Four Yorkshiremen" sketch:It’s a culture thing on that website - they all egg each other on to be more and more delusional and they’ve fallen down the rabbit hole.
Now I think about it, it's all probably quite innocent really. From the little snippets I'd seen, it looked like an unusually critical piece from Hughes, but having just looked at the article I notice one of his key bullet points says "it is clear that Liverpool had no motive to get the game called off" which makes me think he has been spoon fed it by their media team. Yes. There's an approved lab but the one they used employs Kenny Dalglish's daughter Lynsey as Commercial Manager. Is this true?

Of course the media are burrowing deep and leaving no stone unturned in their quest to discover a link to a mass of false positive tests. We all know that they will be "legalled out of it" to quote the Mirror.
