The churches will be full, and the candles will be burning brightly this morning in Liverpool and Oslo before the Palace away game.

Even if they win today, I'm not worried with Brentford and Norwich to come next in the PL.

After that it's Spurs(h), Everton(a), and United(h), in-between the 2 CL matches. That will be our tricky period where the Scousers could catch us if they keep on winning and we slip up. If?

They won the last 7 games played at Selhurst but even if they will strugle PGMOL and the ref will make sure they will win the game especially after our fuck up

Numerous Bluemoon members simply hate everything Liverpool with a passion. In spite of reason otherwise.

The truth is - Klopp is a world-class, top-talent manager and Liverpool would be nowhere near where they are without his stewardship.

Moreover, the USA owners of LIverpool - Fenway Sports Group - have done an amazing job at managing Liverpool. Contrast this with the abject effort put forth by the Glazers.

At any rate - I respect current Liverpool ownership and Klopp. Yes - some of the Liverpool fans are criminals who should be in jail - and yes - it seems to me that Liverpool ownership could do more to curtail their hooligan behavior.

If you are you can’t really comment on why Mancunian people (and others in Britain) would have a negative perception of Liverpool.

Your comment of “hate everything Liverpool with a passion. In spite of reason otherwise” just shows how detached from the real supporter base you are.

We have direct personal experience of being around their fans and club going back decades. We’re not just basing our opinions on what we’ve seen on the TV like you do.

It would be like me asking an NFL team’s fans why they have a rivalry and strong dislike with another franchise and acting as if they were wrong despite me being thousands of miles away with no true to life experience.

Obviously Klopp is a good manager but even someone in your position should know that this guy made comments such as ‘a dark day for football’ when we won at CASS. Of course City fans are going to think he’s a nob.

Liverpool are a club that got English clubs banned from Europe for years for the manslaughter of Juventus supporters. They give death threats to players who want to leave and their ex players in the media help build up the hatred towards them. They literally booed off Ederson when he left the pitch with a potentially serious head injury. They hack into our club database networks, they scheme behind our backs with other clubs. They even hold up flags asking for Manchester to be nuked.

Please forgive us for not quite seeing your reasoning as to why we shouldn’t hate them.

The incidents involving Liverpool fans in England and across Europe over decades are too many to list, culminating in theft, destruction of property, robbery, injuries, and deaths.

Yet LFC and Liverpool fans never want to acknowledeg these incidents. They have been erased from their ISTORY. As if they never happened.

Yet Americans like you, and football fans in general across the world have this on-going romantic notion of LFC, Liverpool fans, the KOP, and those amazing European nights at Anfield.

Liverpool will be very happy with the points that they've gained without Salah but their defence does not look as strong as it once did. Van Dijk in particular looks like he's struggling.

Very fortunate win. How many times have we seen the scousers look fluid and fluent for the opening 30 minutes and then hit the wall - the last time was against Chelsea! If Palace had had their glasses on today - let alone their shooting boots - the result would have been very different. That high line may well undo them this season.
