Just been chatting to a Liverpool fan who reckons they've had the best window so far due to their contract renewals whereas we've had a nightmare for spending "over £100m" on a guy who doesn't even make our starting lineup. Proper Liverpool Echo stuff.

As the token "Dipper" here, I shall just say that your colleague in the discussion was clutching at straws as is trying to find anything to take away from the fact that they know that FSG simply dont want to spend and trying to keep hold of what we have in the hope that we can "go again".

There will come a time that Liverpool fans will start to demand a little more than the annual net spend trophy. Do SOS or any other supporters group ever question where all the profits the club have made over the last few seasons have disappeared.

Yet none of them would get into our starting XI. As long as we stay fit, nothing to be worried about ...
 
Robertson has ankle ligament damage but nothing serious a month tops. As I said yesterday, It was one of those that looks way way worse than it likely was. Its a shame a shit house player like him gets away with just that whilst decent footballers like Fofana get a leg break.

Don’t get the optimism of some liverpool supporters yep they have a fully fit squad but if they don’t bring in anyone else and with then losing mane and salah in January they’ll struggle to get top four..

The first guarantee of the season Klopp moaning about City and Chelsea. Atleast he questioned how united can do it this time. His comments about VVD been way over his paid amount now is just embarrassing. You paid 75m for him you sad twat. He genuinely believes he is in the same bracket as when Leicester won the league. He knows what ever he says media will lap it up, and never call him on the tripe he says.

I think they will start quicker than City, they haven’t had as many players at the Euros than City have and they have played a lot of friendlies so will be ready to go. Time will tell what will happen Mane and Salah missing in January will be tough.
 
On the vvd contract. No talk on the bbc article or in his interview what wages are agreed. No surprise judging by Klopps presser I can only imagine vvd is paying Liverpool for the privilege. If you look at how John Stones contract renewal was reported all they talked about was his wages.

It was exactly the same scenario under that uncouth Glaswegian pisscan: make whatever derogatory and untruthful statements you like (in particular about Man City) and you'll be lauded to the Heavens by Sly, the tabloids, BT etc.
Any and all negativity surrounding us will be treated as established fact. Anything that is detrimental and spitefully vindictive towards the Sheik and the club itself will be accepted at face value, there will be no inquiry as to the factuality of any of these statements, just a quick snigger from the journalist/editor and the article is printed.

Don't ever forget that it's these bastards who were behind the Millie Dowler phone-tapping scandal a few years ago. Utterly contemptible pond life, all of them.
