And you insult me as prick - that is not better. And you did it with intention.

I did not see the expression "Oil club" as an insult as it is widely used for your club. So if you see it as an insult it was not intended by me.

But with using the expression I just tried to explain why the conception of Liverpool - so a billionaire sponsored club, too - is different to that of City or Chelsea.
Explain what an oil club is and how it’s not derogatory or condescending.

Oil club when described by other fans means this.
They are jealous.
They are bitter.
They don't like anybody being above them.
We live rent free in their heads.

I'd just drop the mardarse out mate and put him on ignore, any cocky shit wants to come on here and call us an oil club isn't here for pleasantries.

It is an insult and derogatory term used constantly by those that are ignorant. City is a self sustaining business and has been for years.
thought you were better than that mate.

It is just an insult when it is meant to be one - even if I did not expect your reaction when I used the expression that is wildly used here for it. But I would have had problems to find an expression for the difference as e.g. both clubs are owned by billionaires. Somehow that is not really seen by e.g. the usual Germans - for them Liverpool is a fine club even if there is so much adversity against the owner concept in German football.

Does not really matter as they do not sponsor us more than the other clubs they sponsor.

And just think about that - you and 14 others that are not related to you each have a share at a company - would you pay more than the other 14 if at the end you will get as much out as the other ones?

Naah, you said the three companies weren't related parties (the point being, related to Bayern not each other). Sponsorship from a shareholder is a related party transaction.

If what you are talking about is fair value for the sponsorship, then that is a different point, which afaik hadn't been raised.

Oil club.
Whatever.
Atleast we've never killed anyone

Man Utd are owned by billionaires, so are Leicester, so are Liverpool. Are they Oil clubs? Liverpool a fine club? By what definition? Certainly not the behaviour of their fans or their own business ethics.
If the oil term is widely used by fans in Germany then I’m sorry. Those fans are ignorant and insulting. No doubt you will put them straight when you hear it next.

The current? Hainer, Kahn, Salihamidzic, Dreesen etc.

What does it have to do with Germans talking about Oil clubs? There is no relation behind that.

And if you want to talk about the private stories of Hoeneß or Rummenigge - and it is private stories that do not have much to do with what they have done for Bayern - they actually aren't in the executive of Bayern anymore.
Why do you not prefix other clubs with one of the sources of their owner(s) income? Genuinely curious, as currently I can only offer racial undertones as an explanation, whether intentional or not.

Miguel Deloony everyone.
Say hello to him.

Oil Club is the usual German expression for PSG and City. Nothing related with Bayern.

And if you think having given out 7 per cent of your shares to 3 different publicly owned companies without relationship to each other is a related party - your knowledge of economy might be the problem...
What is the usual German expression for tax evasion?

It’s going to be Curtis Jones, matip and Milner or something that have it isn’t it despite all his protestations

Love me some oil, fucking love it, then we buy all our players/trophies with it, hmmm yeah lovely black gold.
Keep filling your car up & brewing that fantastic ale you make, ta love.

Look at how many German companies sponsor Bayern. Surely no conflict of interets or deals done behind closed doors here? The Bayern way.

Even better, Qatar Airways, owned by that oil state, with a dreadful human rights record.

Before spouting off on here Juregn, do some sponsorship homework on the club you support first.

Now f*ck off you German Rag!

A fine club? They should ask Juventus if they consider them as such.

Yep, most Evertonians I’ve met and the ones on here are sound.
Not all LFC fans either, @LGWIO seems to be their correspondent to planet earth
Hmmm part of me resents the implication that I may not be as blinkered/narrow minded as some of my fellow "red shirts".
What I actually think you meant to put was that in the mould of Nicholas Witchell, I am the correspondent for "European Royalty" on earth.

I won't say or ask if you had a good Xmas, as I'm sure that Leicesters win capped a good time for you all.

Once again, trying to take a positive from a negative, I hope it demonstrated to FSG the need for more quality in depth. If the front 3/4 (inc Jota) don't fire then and unlike City, there isnt an awful lot of goals elsewhere. I thought the man most likely against Leicester was going to be Matip....something of an indictment me thinks.

AFCON aside, unless the chequebook (if anyone can remember them) doesn't comes out i think it is going to be tough keeping up with you guys...but we can live in hope that it stays interesting.

They sponsor other clubs to the tune of a billion a pop ?

Really
