There’s nothing wrong with playing long balls. We deploy it n’all a lot more than people take notice of ourselves. Don’t know where this notion comes from that long ball football is shit football. It’s what makes football, and especially English football, so good - there are teams that play differently to to each other. And it’s all great.

It’s not like Liverpool play aimless hoof balls up like it’s in random hope that it lands in their favour, there’s a skilful purpose to it and they do it very well. And so do we.

It is Premier League/FA and UEFA’s rules that clubs can only sell tickets to home supporters in the designated home stands. And it’s in all club’s own Terms & Conditions (I know this as I’ve read them out to City when in the phone to then once complaining about the number of away fans in the home seats on Champions League nights).

It’s not written in law though.

Ticket touting is against the law, however. Yet many football clubs give tickets to ticket tout sites who sell £50 tickets for upwards of £300+ which are often taken up by fans of the away team.

City sent out an email advising that away fans were welcome in the corporates as long as they didn’t have colours on and respected the others around them, I.e. No celebrating if they scored.

What's to moan at. Playing at home, 3-1 up against a poor Benfica. They could make eight changes and still win the game by three clear goals. Not like they have to travel to Spain and back with only a one goal lead against a half decent team who they lost to a couple of years ago. If anyone should be moaning it's us. Maybe he should have told his team to throw the Forest quarter final. Absolute shit stain of a manager like the club he manages and the cult that worships him

The lack of a proper investigation around their COVID shenanigans was disgusting, but ultimately unsurprising.

But klopp is lauded as a coaching magician . I dont mind a bit of long ball but liverpools whole game is based on it, bypassing the midfield.

Agree. And I call bullshit. The only game he’s thinking about is Benfica, but the thrust of his argument is the 1230 Newcastle match after a potential CL semi. And saying his team tomorrow will be a reflection of the match last Sunday, not this Saturday coming. Bullshit!
 
At the end of the Bindipper game I heard one of the scouse loving twats of the commentators say that Klopp was better at improving players than Pep is and was insinuating that we just buy the finished article. It got me thinking just how much bullshit that is and got me racking my brains as to who Peps either brought in or was already here that he didn't improve and I genuinely can't think of anyone and alongside that I was trying to think of the last 'finished article' we actually bought.

He’s always got a gripe about the 12:30 kick offs. Doesn’t mind taking the broadcast money off BT though
