Actually it does matter. Liverpool not being in the CL is a massive moral and financial blow to them. It was also force them to play on a Thursday night in Europe next season. And yes, I am going to lump on them to win the Europa League. They will smash it with their current team and new midfield, minus Bellingham. ;-)

You’re right, is does matter but 9 points behind the barcodes with 8 games left is a big gap.

Just read that that's the first time this season that Liverpool have beaten a team below them in the league away from home this season. That's a staggering stat.
