1) The 85/86 cup final between Liverpool and Everton
2) The 86/87 cup final between Wimbledon and Liverpool
3) The 88/89 cup final between Liverpool and Everton
4) The 91/92 cup final between Liverpool and Sunderland
5) The 95/96 cup final between United and Liverpool
6) The 2000/01 cup final between Liverpool and Arsenal
7) The 2005/06 cup final between Liverpool and West Ham
8) The 2011/12 cup final between Chelsea and Liverpool

...because I don't really recall them doing it in before any of these games.

I may be wrong and am happy to be corrected if they did.

I remember being in a pub with Scousers when England beat Germany 5:0 only it wasn’t England, it was Liverpool. They were so proud of Stevie G, Owen & Heskey being part of England.

As we all know it’s revisionist bullshit that has only started recently. Anti establishment from the establishment, it’s like being part of the student union at Eton. They are fucking delusional!

At every sporting event the world over if a National anthem is played you are asked to stand and respect it.

If you can’t, especially for your own out of some political class war/envy then you can fuck off as far as I am concerned.

Maybe they need to change the national anthem from one that glorifies one single individual on the basis of unearned hereditary position and privilege to one that is relevant to the common people of this country.
One that mentions the contribution, sacrifice and aspirations of the common people of this country, to this country, would be nice.
Then everyone join in and sing an anthem that would be truly national and relevant.
