The coronation wasn't a tragedy was it?

I thought we live in a democracy.

Yes I respect the scousers rights to show disrespect.

Good on the scousers, there's been too much blowing smoke up his backside, some disobedience was required to level it out.

Again, missing the point. And putting your own views first.

It is the same thing pal, no matter how you try spin it.

Polls repeatedly show the people of Liverpool - like the country as a whole - are more pro-Monarchy than anti. It's the classless, gormless dipper fans at Klanfield who's collective heads are so far up their own arses they can't see the hypocrisy of all this.

This should surprise nobody. This is the club, and their moronic support, who had a tinpot trophy parade on the anniversary of the Heysel Disaster which they created. They've long since lost any moral high ground or right to preach about time and place.

Fuck them.

Ah, the democracy argument again.

Protest all you want, but this is about respect.

I can protest all I want about "being forced to" pay tribute to the Hillsborough dead, but I will keep quiet when there is a tribute out of respect for those who were affected.

You can protest against the royal family all you want, but when the nation is celebrating a royal event, and, like it or not, the majority support a royal family, just shut the fuck up for a couple of minutes.
It's not about your right to freedom of speech, it's about being respectful.

Remember, respect is a two-way street. No-one has a monopoly on respect. Not even in fucking Liverpool.

Seems odd to keep quiet even if something seems wrong.
Cancel culture.
Maybe the Brentford fans didn't hold the same political beliefs as them.
Maybe the Brentford fans wanted to sing "God save the King".
The dippers' actions yesterday impacted the other people in the stadium who didn't want to boo.
It's not just about what Liverpool fans wanted.
Seems, I don't know, wrong to make it all about what THEY wanted (?)

If people wanted to sing the anthem today because they respect or have admiration for the monarchy - good for them, go for it!

If people wanted to boo the anthem today because they hold the monarchy in disdain and are a bit peeved off by what they perceive as a sham of an 'event' taking place today when the country is on its arse - good for them too!

Don't see what all the fuss is about, those booing have as much right to voice protest as those who wish to pay respect.

There's a middle ground though where you can opt out while being respectful enough to stay quiet

No one died. So it isn't.
