Wonder how many innocent scousers wil be viciously attacked by a lone Napoli fan?

A £20 note in the mid 80s is the equivalent of spending a £50 nite in a boozer now, do you think he feels all victimised these days if bar staff or shop workers check £50 notes.
I worked in a major bookshop in the early 2000s and we had to check every note with either the magic pen thing or the UV light boxes we had, accent and appearance were irrelevant.
File all this bullshit under the usual Scouse victim seeking, history rewriting cobblers they use to self mythologise and excuse themselves.

Agreed but the fact that thousands of forged champs league tickets were printed tells you they probably had the printers doing snide twenty’s in the 80s. They’ll have known, spent them & got offended when rumbled.

So the phrase, Pressed against a collapsing wall, rather than chased across the terrace by Liverpool fans, hell bent on causing mayhem, is used....err, okay then!

The campaign took place under the shadow of the Heysel Stadium Disaster, a tragedy that had occurred months earlier, where 39 people were killed and roughly 600 injured after escaping fans were pressed against a collapsing wall prior to the 1985 European Cup final between Juventus and Liverpool.

Tony Evans is a massive, self glorifying, violin playing, candle lighting, Liverpool banner waving, scousewashing, desperado of victimhood.
He can fuck off with all his other scouse victims, the ****.
If you actually read his bio on Twitter he refers to himself as a " Radical Scouse Seperatist ". That's before he refers to himself as a Beer Hooligan, then goes on to explain he will block anyone who refers to him as a drunk? Must be an Alcohol free Beer Hooligan then.

A city run by thieves for thieves.

A city run by thieves for thieves.

It becomes more like Gotham City the more you read about it. The hypocrisy of some of the people saying how hard done by they are, is getting harder to defend. I know I am biased but most appear to support one team rather than the other.

I moved away in 85 when it was possibly at it's worst, have never felt victimised or hard done by. I worked with lads from Manchester and we all got on, yeah you'd get remarks about being a thief, but truth is given the opportunity most of us were.
But that was nearly 40 years ago and you just want a quiet life and get on with people.
Liverpool was no different from any other city in it had areas of poverty and neglect but it was the norm. Sad thing is they have not moved on and some like the attention it brings them, especially on social media. It fuels the victim argument even more, and sometimes I feel if they stopped mentioning Hillsborough and Heysel so much, so would others.
