Watched MOTD and they put a circle showing Jota not touching the players leg for the first booking.
If you get a chance watch the contact just before this and you can see Jota's thigh make contact with the player hence him going down.
If it was a city player they would be telling us that players running at speed go down with that kind of contact.
And while we're at it, that's the end of the 17 game undefeated in the premier league as well.

It was a horredous decision at the time, so yes it cost them points and it also highlightes the awful issue with VAR. However, there have been loads of similar shocking decisions this season already that havent got half the attention this has. Because its them.
