Tried his best?? You've been shown the clip from his half-time analysis where he says it's the correct decision (both to go down AND to award a penalty) and you're still banging the drum that he didn't give a "ministry of truth" explanation!

As for the second one, he stopped any discussion at the full-time whistle by breaking off to wait (for about 2 or 3 minutes) with baited-breath for Bingo to run around on the pitch and do a fist pump and shout!

Sky then went to a commercial break at which point I switched of the BTN broadcast as it was clearly propaganda!

How does your garden grow Mary? ;)
So you didn’t watch the analysis afterwards? Weird thing to admit when trying to dig me out.

Photosynthesis, mainly, but I’m not called Mary.

The irony is a player from a relegation fodder German team is better than Caicedo. Was Caicedo over-rated or Chelsea are a mess of a team ?

I started trying to "dig you out" because you replied to a post which stated that Spitty was on hand to tell us all that the penalty decisionS were correct. Your reply was that that wasn't true (implying both or either).

I was pointing out that you were wrong, as he clearly agreed that the first DIVE was "the correct thing to do" and that "there was definitely contact and that it was definitely a penalty".

I don't know what more can be said.

(but I'm sure you'll find something)

Right, so because he tried to defend the first one, you’ve decided that that invalidates him saying they were dives?

I think most people can see that there was contact in both instances, but that it didn’t make them fall to the ground. Them falling to the ground made the referee make decisions. He saw contact on both and gave penalties. That’s what Carragher was suggesting.

He then said both were dives too and you can see on his Twitter feed that he asked why Jota didn’t just score the goal.

Pundits have to do this. They put both sides of the debate out there. That’s their job.

If you are a professional footballer, you are told to do the correct thing to get advantages for your team. Every team does this. The two incidents last night were too blatant, but all players embellish their falls.

In other news I thought it was insightful for the Dippers to cover any potential floodlight failure due to the bad weather.
Apparently Bobby (sic) Firmino was in attendance last night as a back up.
Well done Turkey teeth.
