I feel for Rodgers. He had to sell Suarez and the players he got in weren't up to it. Not his fault. He had to sell Sterling. And the players he got in weren't up to it. Not his fault.

He has already fired the coaches who weren't up to it. What else can he do?

I know a world class manager os expected to fire the medical staff and IT guys? Blame everyone including the opposition for playing well, ie play mind games?

It's a shame for football.

It's almost as though Bodger is desperate to get sacked but FSG aren't having it, so he's doing increasingly bizarre team selections. He'll have to resort to putting Joe Allen in nets and Mignolet on the wing next.

Their next few games are Norwich (H), Villa (H) then Everton (A). If they screw up either of the home games (and incredibly they haven't beaten Villa at home since 2010) and Everton do to them what the rags did yesterday then Bodger is truly fucked.

Hopefully they'll get 6 points from the 2 home games. Enough to keep Bodgers at the helm for a while longer ;)

I dont, he's turned into a ****. He is a very good youth team coach who has got by after sounding off with technical sounding phrases and rhetoric about how great the club is and fans are and blah blah blah. He's been found out in my opinion

I can see Rodgers getting a job in the Championship and making a fist of it. Possibly getting promotion before being sacked after relegation. He will then become a teacher somewhere quiet.

I hope it happens,it would be a fantastic fit, but i think FSG will go safe and get a "unproven" manager who won't rock the apple cart sadly.
