That's a very good analogy.

I liked Jimmy Milner, and even though I once called him 'A Jack of all Trades and Master of None', it wasn't meant to be in a derogatory way, but as a compliment because he was a very valuable member of our squad due to his versatility.

But, he's made his bed. Now he has to lie in it, even if it is shitty.
I liked him as well. And I was sorry to see him leave. But; his choice. We (and him) move on. I bear him no ill will. Good luck Jimbo.

Certainly agree with wishing him all the best but he made the wrong decision in my opinion but we all have to make them and learn from the mistakes which will be too late for Jimmy now

I can see why he went. He must have known we were buying Sterling and De Bruyne and he would have become even more of a bit part player.

We played two title winning games at home and 3 cup finals while he was with us and he started none. To be honest that would have pissed most players off, especially the Sunderland one.

He will probably win a trophy or two at Liverpool as they will be thereabouts in the cups and for him that may be sufficient along with playing every game.

He gave his all every game for us, it just wasn't always good enough to get him a start.

Liverpool will win sweet FA with Rodgers in charge they need a change in direction

The mans a fucking clown

Markovic, who is on loan at Fenerbace, by all accounts looked the business in his first start and did more than Ibe has done all season and also looked better than he ever has in a Liverpool shirt. (Spoiler: He did not play wing-back, and he was not subbed off at half time. )

At some point this season, i hope to get back to posting good stuff about the team.

Interesting that they still vilify Dirk Kuyt. From the outside looking in, I always thought the guy was a goal-threat, even if he was never going to be Ronaldinho.

Kuyt is awesome, and actually might be our version of Milner (while Milner wanted CM, Kuyt initially wanted CF, but buckled down).

Kuyt was good supporting Torres and Gerrard.

Interestingly, he started for Holland over sexier players for most of his time with us.

Thanks. I didn't dream it, then. That's a relief.

I always thought Kuyt was a good player. As a United fan i used to hate seeing him line up against us, since he seemed to always pull something out of the bag. Never stopped running either.
