Those talking about revenues from overseas 'supporters' need to think about one thing, especially as regards the fakes capitals of the worlds, Asia and Africa, how many of those fans that live on £2 to £10 a day do you think buy genuine merchandise?

I'll say it would be around 2% of them. The clubs don't make much money from them at all, trust me.

I know plenty of City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and manyoo fans in Thailand, the only genuine shirts I saw are ones that have been brought to them by friends etc.

Real name Simon Brodkin - he's about as funny as being stung on the arse by a bee that fella - fucking waste of air and organs if you ask me

he is a blue though

As for this overseas fanbase as said in asia and africa it's more of a love for football than one club, you will see the same, say motorbiike taxi driver on a bangkok streeet corner wearing a fake spurs shirt one day and a city/rags/arse one a few days later, of course there is official fan clubs that spend the money, but most people are buying the same copies that's being talked about in the cellars fake shirts thread. As for liverpools appeal, I was in Anzio on Thursday and only 1 sports shop in the town, in the window a PSG, Barca, Real, Dortmund, Bayern shirts, as for English clubs it was us chelsea and the arse, not a scouse one in the wkndow or the shop, same in Rome, Liverpool also will be hit by their shirt sponsors, us, the rags, chelsea and arsenal will be stocked worldwide in the nike, adidas, & puma stores. they do have some global appeal still but the more they are out of the top 3 the more they will be just another prem club
