Liverpool v City 1st leg CL Qtr Final post match

Seems a lot of posters think we will lose Saturday and next Weds, - Wow ! - 3 losses on the bounce.

Quietly confident before the game I should have know better Good grief, how is it always the same there? Different players, different manager, different owner doesn't matter always the same As bad as we were their first was offside and our offside wasn't 2:1 a lot better than 3:0 but in truth we didn't deserve anything Pep got it wrong with gundy on the right but why did it take him to HT to change it Where was our player going down injured needing treatment to take the string out of the game and get instructions? Totally bottled it

Very disappointing. However in the final shake up we will have two trophies. Liverpool will have their 10th consecutive trophy less year.

No one need tell the players they didn't perform tonight. However WE as a fan base need to be respectful about what this group has achieved and deservedly so for their hard work this season.

We can learn more about respect and support in defeat.
Perspectives everyone . I remember going out of FA cup at Halifax town........if you can't handle defeat with class. Get out of the kitchen.

See this is why i am fuming. Klopp does not have a fucking plan b.....he goes for it at home every fucking game, to score early goals and then they revert to type and fall deep. It isnt fucking rocket science to see that or work it out. The majority of us on here fucking predicted it

They play one way and we just allowed it to happen, we rolled over again providing stupid mistakes and off passes to let them rampage up field and score

So why the hell did we not just control the game for the first 30 mins to just keep possession and frustrate them.

I wanted us to go through and win this competition, tha5 first half has highlighted to me that the pkayers have a long way to go to proving they have the ability to do it

That starts in the return leg

Fuckin gutted...

I had a feeling of foreboding when I saw Gundog starting. He hardly had a touch & could I fuck tell where he was supposed to be playing.

Credit to LFC, as they did what they do best & yet again we were psyched out at Anfield. It's a mental fortitude on their side & a mental block on ours which can be the only explanation as to why we keep crumbling at their crumbling stadium.

The bin dipping Scouse c8nts followed through on their promise to start the match early by damaging the team bus. What's the betting neither the police nor UEFA do fuck all about it?

As for that linesman, he was fuckin shit. Having said that, tonight we couldn't have hit a cow's arse with a shovel from 2 feet away. I suppose we'll have a punchers chance next week & the energy we've expended will hand ManUre the physical advantage on Saturday.

This was always gonna be a critical 2 weeks in our season. We've won one & lost one, but right now we need to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down, take a deep breath & redouble our efforts to get the 3 points we need to win the league & try & turn around tonights disaster.

We've got a tough 10 days ahead...

Sorry to say it but not totally unexpected given our record there. Free money again at odds of 2/1 tonight.
