Liverpool v City 1st leg CL Qtr Final post match

Because he didn't just have the fullback to beat, pool always doubled up on him with a third defender behind them.

Nah, not how I saw it at all. He was very hesitant all the game for some reason. Very poor, but not alone. Jesus was completely anonymous, he needs to apply himself better. Very disappointed. I don’t think we were scared or bottled it, we just played poorly. Saturday can’t come quickly enough for me.

Time to strap a pair on blues. We've won the league by Easter with the league cup already in the bag. Tonight was gutting but there's still a chance and we all need to do our duty on Tuesday. Hamburg was the best atmosphere we've seen at Eastlands and equal to need to replicate that. Its not over.

I think Pep should have done the unexpected and parked the bus but his players failed to execute and could easily have done so with a different gameplan.
Park the bus? Did you see the 2nd goal, enough players behind the ball but nobody closing down Ox, I think it might have ended up 6-0 if we'd tried that tactic, we simply don't have the mindset or the players to do that.

I don't know what it is with technical (not tactical) managers and this flaw. Its like Pellegrini all over again, they can clearly see the trap but they charge right into it. Wenger has the same flaw
its fucking frustrating. Guy on 18 mil a year can’t fucking see and deal with the obvious but us lot on a forum can. Incredibly naive and I’m so so so so so fucking upset and disappointed in pep.

Anyone still think Jesus is better than Aguero?
Collectively awful even Eddie. Walker horrific. BUT it’s only half time an early goal and a fit Sergio who knows what happens. Laporte did okay.
