I'm not sure I've seen a game turn so horrificly, so early on. The first ten minutes, we were shockingly good. Two or three levels above them.

They scored the first time they got over the halfway line. All of a sudden, the scousers are drunk on their superiority as a club, a team, a city, a birthright. Fucking twats.

All came from that Sane mistake. After one sensational run, he dropped a ginormous bollock, going on to stink the place out quite convincingly. Bad day for our biggest prospect.

I don't really have much to say on what happened afterwards. Despite trying watch the match, i found myself staring into the distance, lost in a gory instrospective fugue, confronted and overwhelmed by the very worst of psychological fears and traumas. (I love you dad...sob)

Obviously we were pretty bad but I still feel the result flatters them, they're always dead in a game at 60 minutes and it just takes a few more fortunate bounces for their pressing game to become a succession of turnovers and fouls.

I'm more than confident we can do it personally.

Credit to Laporte too, had by far the hardest task out there and still did it best, which is sadly not saying that much.
