Liverpool won't have much of the ball even with the fans on their side im going for 3-1 to city and rodgers to be sacked monday morning :p

While your predicted score of 3-1 is fairly likely, I don't know where your suggestion that we won't have much of the ball comes from. Yes, you are a stronger side than us. Yes, you have a good midfield (some combination of Yaya, De Jong and Silva to be played?). But one thing Liverpool have done extremely well under Rodgers so far (including the WBA game before the red card) is dominate possession. I'm not saying we'll dominate it 70/30 or some nonsense like that, but I would expect at least parity. Especially at home.

think this will be tight but am expecting a narrow win for us ( you didn t expect anything else did you) tevez and dzecko up front with mario playing from 70 mins.

with some key injuries ( barry, aguerro and micah) think it will be a tough game with plenty of thrills and spills. hope jimmy milner gets a good run out

Nasri and Yaya are good enough at keeping possession to compete with any midfield in the league on their own. Depending on how our ball-winner performs, we could definitely dominate in that area. You could definitely catch us on counters, though, is my main concern.

I'd love this lineup Yaya would be everywhere :)

the key is to go up first, during the run in LFC always put their heads down when things went against them. Saw the WBA game and the same thing happened when they went down 1-0 (that was before the Red).

They have no confidence and Suarez is very wasetful in front of goal (though he is a demon at creating chances). Hit 'em early and they'll fold.

No Agger is huge for them because they were much weaker on defense last year when he was injured.

Hopefully Nasri and Tevez will be on top form for this, along with Yaya, of course.

Kolorov in for clichy, Milner for silva, de jong for rodwell and Dzeko for aguero.

Same formation as charity shield.

If we are as bad at the back as we were on Sunday we will lose this.
