Start with 4-5-1 keep it tight and let Liverpool blow themselves out after about 30 minutes because they will go will hell for leather, high-tempo/pressure and try to blow us away early doors ..... then we can take over towards the end of first half and in the second....

In reality looks like Pellers is on his 4-4-2 missions again and determined to prove everyone wrong who criticises him playing two up front in big games ...

I think last night gives us a slight advantage, but then again they're in better form than us and our record at Anfield is absolutely dire. I can see it being a draw.
I'm not sure they are in better form than us, we found ours before Barcelona, with a 4-1 away win and a 5-0 home win. Liverpool have won both their previous games, arguably against more difficult opponents, but I'd say our form was pretty similar, they lost last night to a team I'd have been very disappointed to lose to, while we lost 2 nights earlier to one of the top 4 teams in the world.

We should get at them from the start, if we do we'll win, we have an advantage given their travels, their plane landed well after 4am this morning, so I imagine the majority won't have trained today, and will be all over the show tiredness wise for an early start on Sunday. Most of the players who played last night will play, and they may have a couple of new injuries.

First step will be picking the right team though, lets hope there is no silly rotation of key players.

This isn't the same Liverpool team as last year and they certainly don't blow teams away anymore they set up 3 5 2 and contain teams and hit on the break so don't see many goals here but think we will do just enough 1/0

If we start like that, and concede we're asking to get beat, we have the fitness levels to start high tempo and keep it up, they won't have, start quick, get in front, and we could beat them well, starting with a "keep it tight" attitude will make it more difficult, not easier imho.

To be honest, we haven't kept it tight too often this season, irrespective of formation. Front foot for 95 mins please

They have dropped 16 points at home from a possible 39 to date so despite our poor record there in the past as it was at Stoke and Sunderland we have little to fear from them.

At least Kompany won't have to mark the likes of Suarez again this week.

This is a great opportunity to close the point gap with the chavs, but I am not so sure of a City win.

Being Clutterberk the ref, at Klanfield , the capital ground for awarded penalties to the diving home side.

In any case, when the whistling c unt spots the spot, somehow Super Mario will kick straight to Joe's safety. Once a blue and all that.

Joe-Pabs-Micho-Mangler-Clichy-Dinho-Yaya-Navas/Milner-Nasri-Merlin-El Kun might do the trick

Why are so many concerned about keeping it tight early on,theyre the ones coming back
from a Thursday night game and extra time.
Get intake the fuckers from the off just like we did at the swamp last season and blow them away
we're more than capable.

Start as if we want to win the game. Play from the first minute. Don't wait 'till MP has given everyone a bollocking at half time.
