Liverpool will be fired up for it, motivated by desire for revenge in front of their fans on the club that stole their title. By now they will have rationalised the Europa Cup exit as a blessing in disguise. They might tire after 60 mins but they'll go at us from the start fuelled by adrenaline.

Difficult to know what frame of mind we'll be in. Disappointment at Tuesday's result but perhaps some refief that we've still got a chance.

We need to make sure that we control the opening 20mins. Dominate possession, stop them gaining momentum, reduce the effect of the crowd.

We should either go for a very early goal and then just dominate posession until end of first half. And then hopefully Bony to come on in 2nd half and finish them off. Or we should just dominate them like you said and watch them tire themselves out.

Physically we should be stronger, but psychologically it's a blow to have known you were in the Champions League all season, and suddenly realise that you are going out. Liverpool lost in midweek but only because they were not motivated.

They lost because they are not that good. If we can't win there it's
We should control the game from start to finish. City are a top team, Liverpool are not
this all day long.we dont beat them we dont deserve to win fuck all

Players, fans and Management know that we must win this. It is at a crucial time, brings us back to 2 points and sets up for Wednesday with Chelsea playing against a physical Hammers side, who knows might be on top or only 2 points behind.

We are good enough we have the class and experience, we are champions. Cometh the hour cometh the man, well we need a few men to show up tomorrow and put this inevitably tired side to bed. We can move the ball around let them chase, we need to control the midfield If we do that we will win it.

Even an early goal for them if the chance comes there way should not impede us. The lads know how good an opportunity this is and they will be up for it.

0-2 Aguero and Yaya

About time we came here and won. They had 120 minutes in Turkey on Thursday so no excuses for us. Let's hit them hard and early.

Our players will know the value of a victory tomorrow. Win, and we've got a much easier run-in than Chelsea, two points behind, albeit having played a game more. 2013 apart, which was due to the 'Mancini meltdown', this group of players has displayed all the know-how of a thoroughbred horse and kicked on at exactly the right time.

For that reason, they'll do this tomorrow.

There's no better feeling as a team sports fan, to see your team win a tournament from behind, against the odds and received wisdom.

It's being unleashed again, is it?

They seem to think so.

Perhaps more perception than reality. But I would expect that there will be a drop in crowd noise if we are winning after 30 mins. They might even stop booing us if we see them off.

Hopefully they'll save the booing for full-time ;-)
