That’s odd. It was only this morning when she was telling us how urgent it was for this to happen as soon as possible. Surely she’s not making it up as she goes along!

In reality it would appear that there is little chance of the scrapping of the 45p rate will go ahead. But the announcement has already served its purpose by making the currency and bond markets move such that the Hedge Fund short sellers can make a few million. Job done.

It's not going to happen. The right wing nut jobs now in charge only have two years left to crash the economy and public finances before the next election, and they are going hell for leather to make sure the damage they cause is so deep rooted it will be almost impossible for the next administration to recover it.

Mad Liz said 'action needed to be taken in a hurry' or words to that effect, and when due consideration is given to the thoughts and guiding principles of those now in charge of our lives which have been publicly announced in various books and papers over the last few years, nothing is going to stop them achieving their aims.

A few tory MP's have said they will oppose the mini budget, but the rest are so cowered into submission by the power of the ERG they will tow the party line, and those that support voting against it are now threatened with exclusion from the party.

Liz Truss isn't for turning, they have their agenda, and nothing is going to stop them.

They have too much fiscal damage on their minds to care.

Whether it was now or later the damage has already been done to the government’s credibility. They now look weak and foolish as well as totally out of touch and no amount of bullshit from Truss or Kamikwasi can change that, and I expect there to be no shortage of it over the next few hours and days.
