Lost all respect for Barca/ sorry for my over-reaction!

Can we give Pepe the benefit of doubt ? The video clip below shows that Pepe has priors and is a thug who can't 'restrained' himself.

The point here is does Pepe deserves a red card for his infraction. Yes the pics clearly shows that he was reckless and intended collateral damage with the thrusting of his leg. Its a violent offence for this serial offender IMO and the book should be thrown at him.

Thats should be the focus of the discussion. All else is secondary; for us to drag other issues and slagged Barca or accused the ref of being biased are pure poppycock & mendacious.

Your joking mate that video is my favourite foul ever and exactly what diving cheats deserve. He dives so Pepe kicks him in for it, FIFA should make that legal. Biscuits would be dead in 20 minutes!!

Chelsea used the same tactics under Mourinho. They contested every decision, to the point where Halsey reported them, if I remember correctly after a game.

Drogba never dives, Mikel doesn't cheat and Essien is the cleanest tackler I've ever seen.

Every club has dirty laundry.
Taking it there is dragging us away from the point. Yes, my team has done it, your team has done it and every professional team in the history of football has, at one point, done it. But Barcelona have, above all others, transformed cheating into an artform and an essential aspect of their strategy.

The video posted of Chelsea at its height vs Barcelona in 2006 depicting our defence kicking lumps out of Messi which initially prompted my response isn't something I'll hide away from. My team committed countless fouls and played a degree of negative football (though in that video it focused on Chelsea's antics exclusively) during that era. I much prefer the way Ancelotti has us playing now to the way Mourinho had us kill games after a lead.

Our knock out to Man United this season doesn't bother me terribly, despite the fact that we should have gotten a penalty in the first leg when Ramiers was taken down. I don't hold a grudge over them for that because they were better than us over two legs and sometimes reff's make bad calls, thats just the world we live in.

What happened in 2009 however, we beat Barcelona by preventing them from playing their game and they cheated their way through at every possible opportunity. What I saw last night, against Arsenal earlier, against Inter the year before and no doubt against Man United in the final - was a replica performance when they realise they might not win.

People will criticise Chelsea/Inter/Madrid's tactics against Barcelona (all under Jose) but quite simply, that is how you beat them. You have to stop them from playing their game or they will tear you to pieces.

I don't agree with they way either team behaved last night, but you can't come on here and moan about Barcelona, when in my opinion you have some of the biggest cheats in the Premiership currently playing for your club.

Do you turn a blind eye every time Cashley throws his toys out when a decision goes against him?

Nope. I'm serious about his lack of restraint. Taking matters into his hand. Its labelled 'retaliation' which any dumb fool knows he won't get away with it. Especially his 'violent kicking' on the fallen player after pushing him from behind.

The player dives very clearly, obviously something was up with him he knew he wouldnt get away with it. He even said he was giving football up after it happened so clearly he had some mental theropy afterwards. Still as funny as anything though, not once but twice

with that tactic, prepare to get booked. 20 pct possession causes bookings!

lets not forget that Chelsea were lucky with several decisions over those two legs too.

Arsenal Barca should have been 2 - 2, not 2-1 and Diego Militos goal should have been disallowed while in the return leg Barcas second goal was totally legit but called for handball. You wont hear Mou mention these gifts though.

Alright mate calm down its only an internet forum. Well no im not i like Barcelona and Real Madrid. Its quite obvious your a fan of cataluna.
Watch how gently he touches him, unless he is made of paper there is no way he should drop from that but he does and that is quite clearly why Pepe loses the plot apart from the fact he was playing the rocky theme tune in his head all game.

I'm sorry. Mourihno is the author of his own misfortune. He can't blame the referee. It's his negative tactics which on its own is acceptable but when implemented with niggardly fouls or dirty tackles that goes beyond acceptable norms or violates Football rules of conduct then we have to condemn it.

It worked for him previously with Inter but Barca team are wiser since then. Its NEGATIVE football.
No we don't need him.
