Funnilly enough the only other time I went to Millwall was when I was living down there in 98, night game at the New Den. Was kept behind for what seemed an eternity while they was having a battle with the coppers.

Escorted down to South Bermondsey tube but would have had to keep on walking to get to my car and there were still a fair few of them milling around. Ended up getting a train in the opposite direction one stop and getting a taxi to where I was parked.
Probably sensible! :-)

I think Billy Boswell from Bread was at the Millwall game. I may be wrong though as I’ve been about everything else about that game ! I was at the Hippodrome in London the night before til it closed though was probably a mess on the Saturday!

I went to West Ham in 87 and they detained 150 City. It was in the paper. I wrestled off a copper and jumped in a cab at Moorgate. Got in at 3.30. Ended up a friend day due to police dogs getting most in a coral. Football has changed so much but it's progress for sure.
I remember well mate I went on the special on my own then found out you lads started to get lifted at Euston. It didn’t go down well , it could of been a lot different the irons clapping us out the ground then up to the tube station.?could of been a total different outcome back in the day . Probably not could of but would of .

I remember going upto Newcastle mid 80s, with abit of a shit turn out.
That being said us and Newcastle were really bob then.
We got beat, can't remember the score but remember a young gazza playing

Wimbledon and Plymouth had four and six fans respectively in the full members at Maine Rd

Was the Plymouth straight after the 5-1 against the rags think I was in the mainstand that night
The Plymouth game was directly following the Huddersfield 10-1

Back when FOCs were kids:
Bet there weren't many went to Plymouth on Boxing Day 1946, the day after City played them at home on Christmas Day.

Always wondered if anyone got to Southend for the famous F.A. Cup tie there in 1956 on the way to the Wembley victory.

We were in the Lion and Lamb near Euston. Mickey got us marching in 2's wearing a construction helmet. The dibble arrived before Kings Cross with dogs. Looking back it's daft but it was 1987.
