Millwall away 2001 - we had no City fans there ;-)
"We're not really here"
Met Hull's finest on the car park of their old ground, first game of the season 88/89.Meeting my mate at Hull station that day and was approached by Hull's finest asking me the time. Said nothing but pointed to my wrist showing I had no watch and moved swiftly away.
I was on that rickety old 1950s model, getting back to Manchester, around 5am, just in time for the first train to Whaley Bridge the following morning.Another one I remember is Bournemouth away 87 in December could of been one of the last specials we run . Probably about 40 on the train at most . Great days for us who didn’t give a fook .
Darlington away in the cup on a cold Dec Friday night about 98, Dickov equaliser in a 1-1. A few hundred in the city end.
We had the terracing behind the goal AND the side behind the dugouts. There were at least a thousand - maybe 1500.That must have been our first FA Cup 2nd Round Tie since WW2 and beyond?
I was on a half full coach from Stockport,(Alan Potter was the Supporters Club steward) and I only went because it was a new ground.
I would guess a few more than 200 blues, but it was definitely a cold and horrible occasion.
Not disagreeing mate.We had the terracing behind the goal AND the side behind the dugouts. There were at least a thousand - maybe 1500.
I remember that game, it was definitely December, you had an inflatable snowman and decided to sing "walking through the air" in a high pitched voice. I thought the special was pretty busy that day. We had plenty of time to play cards, I know that much.I recall Bournemouth away in December 88 (I had an inflatable snowman!) - went on the special and the away end was packed.
Pretty sure the 87 game was a night match (won 2-0) which is why I missed it
Yes..... Sadly that tune I was trying to get going didn't take off.....I remember that game, it was definitely December, you had an inflatable snowman and decided to sing "walking through the air" in a high pitched voice. I remember something similar happened at the Watford cup replay, the money was rolling all over the floor.Yes..... Sadly that tune I was trying to get going didn't take off.....
Funny thing about that card game onnthat day I never forgot was I had the perfect hand I knew would win the pot..... we pulled into Boscombe station not realising that is the station we were to get off...... I insisted we played the hand as I knew I'd win..... we were the last off as I pocketed all the 5p's......
I know a few who went, including one who was invited into the chairman's lounge after and had to pretend he didn't know Bernard Halford.Millwall away 2001 - we had no City fans there ;-)

I remember the Watford cup replay another draw then a toss of coin in the centre circle for the second replay Paul power pumping the air as we’d won the toss to play at home …. We got beat .I remember something similar happened at the Watford cup replay, the money was rolling all over the floor.
